I had never heard Broken Pieces before. Thank God for social media. I needed that lesson tonight. For 905 days I have lived in a personal lfe of broken pieces. Thank you 😘!

I actually named my only daughter after yours. The day I read one of your books and saw her name in the dedication I knew that no other name would fit my daughter but Gemia. This was in 2002...she too is my precious jewel. Thank you for sharing your gift with us Iyanla.

You are so amazing! I use to watch Starting Over all the time. It was the only show that showed women "helping" each other and not disrespecting each other. you are truly an Angel we women need.

Did you ever ask why is this happening, or why is it happening to me, or what does this mean for my life going forward? Initially, I might ask these questions to myself to no avail I guess bc God has better things for a child that we think shouldn't be called this early from here. It would take me a long time to process the loss of my only child. I very much feel the pain. TY for sharing what you could. I'm glad you are thankful for the time you had with Gemmia. What remains is love.💟

I have tried to contact you twice and left messages on your website. I have the ability to touch people’s lives and help uplift them. I am working on my hours to become a LCSW and now doing therapy.
