Gemmy Halloween Animated "Haunted Skull Radio" (NEW 2017)

This is yet another item I managed to pick up for around $25. When you turn the dial on the front of the radio, a creepy song will be chosen, while the multicolored skull sways from side to side. Here's the really neat function. There is actually an extra speaker slot that's about four times the size of the original, tiny speaker they ended up using (which is less costly). With that being said, you can simply find another speaker that is equivalent in size to the slot and install it for a much better base and audio quality. Pretty awesome I must say. In the background of the soundtracks especially the "red soundtrack" it actually sounds like there is faint static and hum of a transmitter as if your tuned into a powerful station, that's really cool!

I saw one of these at target it DID NOT have a waving skull, instead some candles, and it did not play classic music. I forgot what it played.

I got the one with with the Halloween theme I'm trying to find this one I may run into one next year ironically because most stores I go to hardly sell holiday stuff from the year before no joke I seen stuff at one store from 2015 I was like wait I saw this 2 years back but cool thing is you get them half price also

Just picked this up at big lots a store in California great piece to have. Your mod to the speaker sounds great, as you say the small speaker does pierce the ears but then that's what spooky is all about I guess. I would love to buy another one so I can mod it as you did.

Hey, I have the multicolor Halloween radio from 2015, and I love the sounds it makes. Is there a way to get those sounds in a .wav format before they changed the quality?

Hello! Is "At Home" the only other store you were able to find this radio at besides Lowe's? I don't want the Lowe's version. I like the cheaper version better. The one you have. But the closest "At Home" to me is about 23 miles away. That's not THAT far, but it's also not THAT convenient either. So, if you could tell me of any other store that has this skull radio, that you're aware of, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you! 👻💀🎃👻💀🎃

Am thinking about ordering one of these for my brother but would want to do the modifications. A lot of people have asked how you did the modifications and what speaker you used but no reply from you. What size in inches is the speaker and how many ohms. There are so many options but would like to narrow this down as I would have only a week before his birthday. If you could answer that question, I know a lot of your viewers would be grateful as well as myself. Thank you very much!

@Gemmy Masters Animatronics. I'm not sure if you know, but the Lowe's version plays 4 songs and yours only plays 3. So, that might be why yours is cheaper than the one at Lowe's. Which is around $45 or $46.

+frauleinmona nope this one has 4 songs two, they replaced one of the songs with the Halloween theme on the Lowe's one, this one isn't blue tooth, that's why this one is cheaper

Ohhhhh! I must have missed your 4th song! Now I have to watch your video again! lol. And you *did* play all 4 songs, correct? The other video I watched was by 'Gemmygod' and his radio also played the theme from "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour". Which is actually called, "Funeral March Of A Marionette". As well as the theme to "Halloween" (which you had already mentioned) and two of the songs that *your* radio plays.

I see now! I missed the part of your video where your radio played "Funeral March Of A Marionette", ( the Alfred Hitchcock theme ). Holy moly! I could have sworn I watched your WHOLE video! DUH! I'd have been thrilled to see the demo in the begging and then cut the video short when you started talking honestly. Nothing against you, just trying to conserve time..
