I've had these when I was like 7 years old

I remember seeing one of those when I was a little kid, I was scared as hell of that thing I thought that thing was alive for real.

I had this but it feel and broke and now my grandson is annoying me about it

(This happened when I was in either daycare or elementary school.) My local zoo down in Florida had this same pirate skeleton animatronic. Every time my family and I went there when I was little, that thing scared the living daylights out of me. The animatronic was in a certain indoor section of the zoo with a whole bunch of other pirate themed decorations. I can clearly remember that it stood right by the entrance of that particular indoor section, and I absolutely refused to set foot in there because of me, being scared of that animatronic. (I was afraid of it; I just didn't want to admit it to my family. I kept this fear/secret to myself for all these years.) Whenever I did actually set foot in that indoor section, I would run past it without looking and screamed every time it turned on. I don't know what made me so scared of that thing, but it absolutely made me freak out and I didn't like it. It was one of my worst nightmares as a kid. Years later, when my family and I went back to the zoo, that pirate skeleton animatronic was still there, in that very same indoor area/section, believe it or not, but I guess the owner(s) of the zoo unplugged it and put it in a different spot. Now, as an adult, the last time I looked at that thing, I just either glared or shot a dirty look at it, as I still remembered it to that day.

I have the exact one. But last halloween mine quit dancing. It still sings all 4 songs and eyes light up. But don't know why it quit dancing. Any suggestuons?

i bought one from a friend for $ 34 and it sings and dances but the mouth does not move what do you think might be the issue

I'm sure you know but the arms on this model are poseable, or at least with mine, I have the same model and it's arms are poseable, and mine has the tag still as well and I only paid $45 for mine from letgo

I got the freaky geeks skeleton ("PLAY THAT FUNKY MUSIC") model for only $10 broken the mouth was broken and the dancing the rest works.

What motor did you use for the mouth to move?

I found one on curb and it was beat to crap its head was cracked and the plastic left had 3 shattered parts in the back its sad to see something that gemmy doesn't make anymore turn into crap like that

Does this guy lock into place when fully upright like other lifesizes or does he just sit on his springs? I have him but doesn’t “click” into a locked position when upright.

Hi , I just got this on eBay . It sings & mouth opens , but it’s body does not move & it makes a sound like from the motor . Do you know what might be wrong ? I thought maybe during the shipping , something might of came unconnected inside . It don’t want to stay standing up either . The owner said it was working when he had it . He offered for me to return it , but I wanted to keep it if it’s a quick fix or something I can do to fix it . I don’t know of anyone in my area that works on things like this . Any ideas what could be wrong ? Thanks
