This new harness offers all of the great features of the 541NYC harness - easy donning and doffing, easily adjusted, aluminum Pompier Hook, sliding D-ring, UL tested to NFPA 1983 standards, and more.
Traditionally, the Gemtor 541 series harness was designed to either close to the RIGHT or to the LEFT side of the user. Recently with the addition and popularity of firefighter escape systems, the center closing harness has been developed to allow end users who wear right side closing pants to now have this center closing harness. This will now allow them to position their escape system on their right side, as most systems are designed.
