My father and Musharraf studied in St Pats Karachi and were friends since then. They had another friend Bilal who embraced shahadat in 71 war. My father always told me that Musharraf was always a friends friend, even if they didn’t meet for years. My father used to run into him in events in Islamabad during Musharraf time as president and Musharraf used to always meet him as if nothing had changed from their student days.
