A very nice reaction! She is 16 years old here. Her Grandma, Mery Zamani, helped produced this. She used the same store (Melrose Gallery) she used for her My Funny Valentine and I Have Nothing videos. Her sister Juliette was the older girl and the 2 younger girls are her Uncle Mike's kids. 2- time Grammy winner Rob Christie is on piano once again. He is also the music director of Republic Records, the music company she is signed with. The beehive hairstyle was to honor Priscilla Presley and the time period she met Elvis. The black suit and red guitar was a classic look for Elvis from his comeback concert. What a performance and homage to The King himself.

@@OleOlson121 No, I haven't heard anything new about when the new EP will come out. It's looking though that it will probably come out after the 4th of July. Love Don't Let Me Go came out on a Friday, May 5th, so possibly it will come out July 5th or on Friday, July 7th. No, sadly I cannot make her concert in Portsmouth. How about you? I know some of the Angels are going to the concert, but also planning on possibly playing some golf. Whatever their plans, it sounds fun!

It won't be long and she will be filling stadiums and there will be few if any chance to see her in such an intimate setting. Bummer you can't make it. My friend & I both golf but I don't know if I'll bring my clubs though it would be fun. Hope you get a chance soon if you haven't yet made it to one. Once I've seen it I'll be able to die happy after hopefully another decade or two enjoying this marvelous human being. I was kind of hoping by the 4th on that LP but we'll have to see.

Thank you for returning to Angelina. She is worth every minute you spend watching and listening to her performances. The song was written by Mark James, an American singer/songwriter, who recorded it the year it was written. The best known version, however, was that done by Elvis Presley. It was his last No 1 song. In the Wikipedia entry of the origins of the song, Mark James is said to have remarked "That late one night, he was fooling around on his Fender guitar and using his Hammond organ pedals for a bass line and came up with what he thought was a catchy melody. At the time, he was married to his first wife but still had feelings for his childhood sweetheart, who was married back in Houston. James's wife had suspicions about his feelings. He felt it was a confusing time for him and that all three were "caught in this trap that they could not walk out of." Other singers covering this song invariably base their performance on that of Elvis, in that it is very "upbeat". Angelina took a very different path in that she read and understood the lyrics and what Mark James intended when writing them . To my mind, her rendition is much truer to the emotions of the song. The children appearing in the video were Angelina's cousins Aurora (first) and then Athena - daughters of her uncle Michael Astar, and then her sister Juliette. I would hazard a guess that they were included to emphasise that children are very important to Angelina and her family. Confession! I have never been a great fan of Elvis Presley, although I do like some of his earlier recordings, and I had never heard of the song "Suspicious minds" but knew that Angelina would completely take ownership of it, and she did. It was beautiful. After listening to it several times, I decided to download the lyrics to see whether she kept to the original structure. She didn't, and the song is all the better for it. For me, that she started with the Bridge of the song is very significant and, I feel, very indicative of Angelina's "up front" transparency. She was declaring that it was important that their love did not die, and then carries on to say why she feels as she does. Others first say how they feel and then, almost as an afterthought, assure their love they don't want it to end. For me, it is whether I feel the singer is genuine about the situation and wishes it could be resolved or whether the singer understands the situation but thinks the blame is on her/his partner but feels the need to assure them they don't want it to end (until somebody else comes along).

No one song will ever inform you as to what Angelina sounds like because she flexes her tone and texture anyway way she pleases. So she is always recognisable but totally different depending on genre. How much grit, vibrato, vocal fry. High low. She can belt but since she does not sing to show off its only when the emotion requires it. She is a true artist and serves the song not her ego. The songs posted very close to this will give you an idea. Adeles EASY ON ME and then when she decided to open a jazz concert with a Labyrinth song. I mean a Labyrinth song. MOUNT EVEREST. For those who have followed her for 8 years, we still managed to hear something she had not shown us before.

👣You guys just had an expearience I`ll never be abel to take part in. This jump from 8 year old to her at 16. I do wonder what my reaction might have been like 🤨 Or as some reactors did this one even as their first. Hmm . . . . 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 As I first heard her early in 2014, at 7 years young at her NGT audition performance, I must say it has been a blessed enjoyment to be abel to follow her development almost from day to day. She has continued to stunn me, and surprice me by her every performance. And as you said, how incredebly well she has been growing into her amazing voice. There have never been a dull or less exiting moment with her. And as she just love to sing, she has got us all these hundreds of performances to enjoy and admire. Even as she makes a new performance or a new version of songs we have heard from her before, it`s always an obvious "must see" to me. Her slowing down skills are an amazing chapter of her catalog in itself. You go listen to her versions of "California Dremin` ", "Wicked Game", and not at least "Bohemian Raphsody", is absolutely to be recomanded for you. As you understand there are tons of great music from her. Her recently released original "Love Don`t Let me Go" is a great one telling us all where she is TODAY.👣 New suscriber signing out for now. Hope to see a lot more from you guys. Love from Norway👍

Norwegian born Angelina Jordan began singing at the age of one and a half, and by age three was listening to jazz and classics legends on repeat. Her grandmother was her greatest influence, but Angelina chose her own path. Her first studio performance was at age 7, singing I Who Have Nothing. She won Norway's Got Talent at the age of only 8, singing old time classics from Billie Holliday and George Gershwin, and became the youngest ever vocalist to win an international Got Talent Show! Her performance at 9 years old of Screamin Jay Hawkins, I Put a Spell on You is considered one of the finest recordings ever of a 9-year-old vocalist! Angelina also went viral on America's Got Talent the champions in 2020 with her unique versions of Bohemian Rhapsody and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Angelina sings in English which unbelievably is her third language! She is a true prodigy. She is now 17, and has recorded a huge library of songs, including covers and several originals. A major attraction to Angelina's music is the emotion and attitude she conveys, although she has not experienced the life events! She is known as the barefoot princess of 1,000 voices as she can adjust her tone, style, and register for any song or genre. She was signed by Republic Records when she was 14. She was not been widely promoted for a few years, as her family wanted to allow her a normal childhood. However, things are changing rapidly as she is now graduating school. She has just released her new original single from Republic Records, Love Don't Let Me Go, and a new EP of five originals is scheduled for early summer. A world tour is apparently in the works for the fall, and possibly a full album. Here is a chronological playlist from ages 6 to 17, of all Angelina's 191 videos including tiktok and Instagram. The first dozen or so are her originals and a few specialty songs. Then it starts chronologically at age 6. kzfaq.info/sun/PL2v8kgVeo4EbQD6l_WAVjOfItquzW7oEc Why does Angelina sing barefoot? The answer may bring a tear to your eye. It is related to a promise she made to herself and to the world when she was only 6 years old. She was traveling in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own favorite shoes. Angelina ask the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said a doctor, but she could not because she had to take care of her siblings. She asked Angelina the same question and Angelina said I want to sing for the world. The young girl said she would pray for Angelina. Since then, Angelia has forever performed barefoot as a reminder of all those less fortunate. At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, Between two Hearts, becoming the youngest ever published author in Norway. She also has helped raise millions for children's charities. She even donated her winnings from Norway's Got Talent to charities. She is a special individual, and one you cannot follow without developing an emotional bond. Angelina captures hearts because she is humble and has compassion for humanity. Her stated goal from childhood was to sing for the world and spread love and peace. I trust this will cause you to embrace her as millions of others have, and that you will continue down the rabbit hole from which you will not want to escape. Peace and love. Time to go for you to do her cover of "I Put a Spell On You' by Screamin Jay Hawkins 1956 to see what kind of a genius you are watching as if this isn't enough to tell you that. Absolutely what I expected. She made this her own song and she did it beautifully. I noticed Angelina’s sister Juliet sitting there, she is going to be as beautiful as Angelina one day. Elvis' version is great, and it still is one of my favorites. but Angelina's version is equally great and is definitely her own. When I first heard this song I loved it and put it at #3 on my playlist (Angelina Jordan Playlist by Terry M.), about midday I moved it up to #1. The main thing that changed my mind was the power in her voice. I'm not talking about loudness I'm talking about the power she has regardless of how loud or soft she sings. This is a quality that I haven't heard from anyone in my 83 years. This voice has become so unique that it is totally unmatched. Her phrasing in the last bridge is great. And she got Elvis’s ‘Oh Yea’ at the end of the song. The pianist is Rob Christie (3 Grammys), he is the head of the Republic Record department that is responsible for Angelina and other singers. The two small kids are her uncle Mike's kids, and the older girl is Angelina's sister. If you haven’t already reacted to her latest studio version of Whitney Houston's version you should - here’s the link - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n75gmpxqz7SWZok.html 🙂

Tiny Little Girl Our tiny little girl with the grownup voice was 17 on Jan. 10, 23 and is now 6'1" tall and could be a super model, but I hope the major portion of her career will be dedicated to her music and taking the world to a better place. I don't think she even realizes this power she holds over us and the need to hear that signature voice to fill that empty void within all of us. Angelina Jordan is in fact the "Benchmark" for all other vocalist to try as they might to achieve. I have a number of pictures of celebrities whose height is known, for example, Austin Butler, who played Elvis, is 6ft tall, and AJ published a picture of her standing next to him, she was at least 1 inch taller than him, and she had to look down at him.

My interpretation of the symbolism of this music video: First, and foremost; Angelina Jordan at 16 is the epitome of a Storytelling ARTIST, and she has the ability to take us by the hand and lead us down an imaginary path that we visualize as reality. The remarkable fact is that we experience this in each of her performances. In this video we see her as a married woman in her mid to late 20s. As the video starts out, we see dishes, and it is a symbol of a home. As AJ sings the phrase “Were caught in a trap, I can’t walk out” we see 3 small children, this to me is a marriage where the children come first. If it were AJ by herself, she would not stay in a relation without trust.

Rob Christie is Playing Piano, and he is AJ's A&R person with Republic Records/Universal Music Group. That dude playing the piano is Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California, and he has been working with AJ since she signed with the largest record company in the world at the age of 14, two years ago. Rob was the MC of AJ Christmas Show that aired Dec 23, of 21. AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Barbara Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California played the guitar, and was the MC of the show. (I can't list the complete backgrounds on all the band members because it would take several pages to do them justice.) Angelina stated that she would rather perform than take a breath, and she has never been forced to perform, it has been her decision.

The Hagstrom Red Guitar used in this video is a modern up to date copy of the one Elvis used in 1968. The Hagstrom Red Guitar belonged to musician Al Casey, a member of Elvis’ backing band during the special in 1968. According to an accompanying letter from Casey, he was asked to let Elvis use the guitar by the producers, as they "thought it would look beautiful on camera and with the set." Elvis Presley’s 1942 Martin D-18 acoustic guitar may have recently sold for $1.32 million, but fear not - another of the King’s axes, this one his cherry-red Hagstrom Viking II electric guitar, famous for its use in the legendary '68 Comeback Special, is hitting the block. The semi hollow instrument is a highlight of Kruse GWS Auctions’ Artifacts of Hollywood & Music auction, which begins on March 27. It's being offered with a starting bid of $250,000. By Matt Owen published March 31, 2021 Now, it has been confirmed that the legendary semi-hollow has been sold for a whopping $625,000, with the proud new owner of the lot managing to outbid six other plucky bidders to get their hands on the prized piece of music memorabilia. The ‘68 Comeback Special marked Elvis' return to live performance after seven years spent focused on acting in Hollywood films. The televised concert, which launched Presley's return to live touring, featured him playing the Hagstrom for the opening segment as well as during one of the live "stand-up" segments.

"Suspicious Minds" is a 1968 song written and first recorded by the American songwriter Mark James. After this recording failed commercially, it was recorded by Elvis Presley with the producer Chips Moman. Presley's version reached No.1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and it was his last hit record. Consider this; there are lots of performers that impersonate Elvis, and some can sound just like him. Have you ever experienced someone that sounds like Angelina Jordan, let me be the first to answer that question, the answer in no. That is because AJ is one of a kind, and on a level that supersedes all others. If you question what I have just stated just listen to the professional voice teachers after experiencing AJ. They all admit that they are speechless because they have never heard anyone like AJ. The children are AJ two little cousins, they are the daughters of her uncle Mike, he is her manager, and the oldest girl is her younger sister, Juliette. This is my 126th time experiencing this video, and each and every time it gets better. We must give credit to the support team behind this phenom. There is no one on earth that can match the talent of this STORYTELLER. AJ deconstructs a song then reconstruct it to make each individual hearing it feel it was written for them, a love letter to their comfort zone. Melrose Gallery is the same antique store in Hollywood that she used for My Funny Valentine AJ plays guitar, keyboard/piano, violin and flute. Don’t forget she writes music and was the youngest author in Norway to publish a book. No loud band, no light show, no dancers, just two instruments to accompany the MAGIC that Angelina Jordan brings like no one else can. At 7 she was killing us, at 16 she is taking us places we have never been. What a glorious production, praise to everyone involved, so perfect for Angelina Jordan she rules the universe with her talent. Again, the great talent of Rob Christie playing the piano. The Cinemaphotography, a total MASTERPIECE, Excellent ART Cole McCarthy! Great touch, the cousins and sister get a cameo. Mery, you should be so proud, AJ's grandma produced this. (This red guitar is identical to the one Elvis played in his 1968 concert on TV.) Oh, the tears, and loss of breath, she is like no other in the universe. Here is a classic example of what this ethereal talent, Angelina Jordan, can achieve she takes a mundane song and turns it in to phenomenal classic. Angelina at 16 is the MASTER of her universe, she is top priority for both Stargate, and AJ's voice has been unique since she was 7 years old and now at 16, she controls us as an audience, leaving us hang on every word and phrase. She has written a number of songs.
