They started out as a sketch comedy troupe... so they decided to do a sketch movie for what turned out to be their last movie.

It is sad that most of the jokes are not being understood by the two of you at all ' Every sperm is sacred 'was shocking when the film came out but it was also funny, it was an attack on the anti - birth control beliefs of the Catholic Church.

Their only other film is a live concert film called "Monty Python Live at the Hollywood Bowl" it's well worth checking out.

Reactors seem to have a lacking in imagination to not take things as exactly as they are portrayed in literal ways. Always pointing out age and gender of actors. Or going out of their way to always have to say how everything is a social commentary, can't just enjoy it. Those kind of nit picky examinations are best left for further viewings imo. Not a bad reaction even if most of the scenes were gutted beyond recognition, although strict YT is probably to blame for that.

This was even more censored than i thought.

The songs in this film are quite brilliant, shame you had to edit them out. 'The Galaxy Song' is a favorite of mine. I was in my mid-twentys when this was released, and I thought it a bit over the line of good taste, but funny anyway. Poor Tzuu was I think traumatized by all the blood and random violence. I have come to realize that such cynicism is actually quite poison. It is not quite as much fun as it used to be to make fun of the English Upper Class. Looks like they are but a memory now.
