Not according to them. It is the total opposite. I can see how this generation has literally lost 20 IQ points since the last generation. I didn't believe the study until watching these people prove it. Every generation was gaining 2 IQ points until this generation, they have lost 20 IQ points since the last generation, not gained. Lack of parenting, raising their children in iPads and iPhones.

In other words @jessehiggason , what @stefanmatton8778 means is that your statement reveals that you're prioritizing your career over having a family. If you're prioritizing having a family, you wouldn't be waiting for your bio-clock to remind you in your 30s. It's not about your bio-clock, it's about your conscious and pro-active decision to prioritize having a family. Just saying.

My Wife is now 41, and I am 38. We were told years ago that we could never have children and were absolutely heartbroken as a result. Eventually we got resigned to growing old together and leaving behind... nothing. Then, just after her 39th birthday, the miraculous happened and we got pregnant. Now we have a healthy, bouncy one year old boy and a perfect little family. Yes, we had a baby a little later in the life than is usual. But having that baby at all made our lives somehow complete when beforehand we were simply denying a part was missing.

@Mistyfaery
@Mistyfaery 6 ай бұрын
Right. It floors me that those pushing to have kids don't give this a thought. Also....why the heck do they care so much about who reproduces or doesn't? Here's a hard pill to swallow since they seem to like dishing those out: What if the reason society is so brainwashed into having kids is because it means more money for the government via taxes? 😃 Seriously. Think about it. Every government pushes people to have kids. Do we really think if there wasn't something in it for *them* that they would honestly care? Of course not. Now none of this is to say not to have kids. All I'm saying is that these guys keep talking about women as if we can't think for ourselves and come up a perfectly logical reason(s) for not having children (I have literally never heard one woman use her career as a reason for not having kids. Not one.) Meanwhile they never stop to think that the "have kids is your purpose!" narrative has always been is still is the same one pushed on people, especially women. You ask men why they want kids. "Legacy" and "Not to be alone" are what most answer. But those who opt out of having children are the selfish ones? Oooooookay! 😂 The answers given FOR having children revolve around them and their own precious ego, not what it should be which is to love, care for, and raise a person.

@analogueoverdigital929 sadly, I know 3 girls who's guys forced them to terminate their pregnancies. It was early on, thank God, but one was physically abused, like me. The other, he told her I'd she didn't he would leave her, move out of state and she would be alone and the third, his mom actually pressured him to make her. She took her to the appointment and everything. I told my boyfriend no, he beat the living daylights out of me, but my son was fine. It took me 5 years to leave his sorry behind! I have been with my current husband for 33 years. He is the most wonderful hubby in the world. Accepted and raised my 3 yr old like his own. My ex wanted nothing to do with him. It depends on the character of the men and the constitution of the women.

I just watched an interview of a 93 year old woman. She said something she would tell herself if she could go back in time to her younger self was to not care so much about “things”. She said she and her husband worked so hard to obtain the best things that now just clutter her home. And none of her children and grandchildren want any of it. It made me think about my own goals, of course I’ve always wanted my dream home and vacations. But making memories with my children will mean more in the long run.

Career means nothing if you're dead. Seen too many people die young who were healthy and working hard to get a dreamhouse and italian car on the driveway. Ive spoken with so many wealthy people that i came to the conclusion.... that life is nothing for me. Imagine living like a workhorse your whole life, just to have some nice things and a fat bank account. I rather chase happyness, health, love n family. Those are the things that matter. Eversince my father got diagnosed with cancer when i was 15, my life changed and started to live day by day... so yeah. A career isnt everything if you're not happy. Working everyday isnt happyness

This man is Andrew Tate. He has trafficked women and children to the Richest men globally. Do you even know who you are taking advice from?

I’m 50yrs old and I don’t have children (unfortunately not by choice). But I’m not on the verge of a suicide or anything like that. Eventually you get used to live in this way and you can find your happiness without children. I still have my family, my sisters, my parents and lots of dear friends. Life is not always as you planned in your youth.

That's entirely different than having the capacity to contribute to the ultimate victory of mankind over the universe and simply saying, "Nah, that's too inconvenient. Imma head out."

Sometimes life doesn't give us a choice about certain paths, and the most positive thing to do is make the best of the situation that we ARE in (which sounds like your approach 🙂). I assume Tate is trying to stop these women from throwing away a valuable opportunity, before they realise its true worth! I took his statement as a wake-up call, rather than a criticism of women who are (for example) unable to have children.

Thank you for this. I know there are a lot of people throwing away opportunities for self centeredness but there are some that are thrusted into situations and are making the best of it. As humans we adapt. Find the silver lining. Again, I’m glad I’m not alone in where I am and it could change. Thank you for your comment and outlook, it’s encouraging.

I don’t understand this. Why is it that people with children want ppl with out children to have children. I watched my mother stress herself out over her 9 kids growing up. I watch my sister stress herself out now over just having two kids. Every woman and man I know with children look tiered and miserable. They complain and bitch about not getting any sleep “we didn’t sleep last night Bryson kept us up all night crying” or they are stressed out about money and bills because they have 5 kids. And yet that never stops them from asking the question. “So when are you going to have kids?” When I tell them I have no plans to they always take offense to it like I’m saying their life choices aren’t worthy enough for me to consider adapting to. What is it with you people? Why do you care if I have kids? Do you want me to be miserable too. Is it jealousy? Do you see all my disposable income and wish you could take it from me. Do you see how well rested I am and wish i spent my 2 hour mid day nap screaming at unruly disrespectful kids instead? I don’t have worry lines and wrinkles because I don’t scrunch up my face in anger and frustration screaming at ppl all day long. Calm down. I don’t dis like children. I am the second eldest of 10 kids for crying out loud and any one who knows me knows that fact and also they would know I had a huge hand in raising my younger siblings and cleaning house for 12 people when I should have been out with friends and playing sports. I already did my time and I love my siblings to death but I hated my life back then. So stop telling child free millennials and people who don’t want to have children that they are selfish and they need to have children. I don’t see how not wanting to have children is selfish. I thank my mother everyday because back when I had baby fever she would snap me out of it and tell me not to have kids. And this is a woman who birthed 8 out of 10 children. So respectfully no thank you. I’ll keep my disposable income (which in this economy isn’t much as it is) and my peace and quiet and sound of mind. I heard misery loves company but unless you are going to come to my house and help raise the kids you try to guilt and abuse me into having then you have no right telling other people to have children. I’ve been called worse than a DINK and I think I’d rather be a DINK (disposable income no kids) then a SOPP (stressed out poor parent)

It’s subjective. And kids don’t guarantee love or support when we’re old and need someone to help care for us. My aunt has four kids and 12 grandchildren and I’m the only family who comes around her. And she did nothing to warrant her entire family abandoning her

I can't say that even though I don't have any 🤔😉WHY because in my teens my mother used to babysit A LOT! And still at home I had babies keeping me awake ALL NIGHT. It was good to give them a cuddle and give them BACK to the parents. Probably why I never wanted any 🤔😉😁
