I attended General Assembly in 2020. I took the 6-Month Software Engineering Immersive Remote Course starting from zero coding experience. I'm glad I bumped into a positive review for once. Seems like Reddit is full of nightmare stories. I'm thinking of jumping into the July 8 cohort for GA, and this helped me tons. Thanks for sharing man! What are you working on lately?

Glad it helped! The boot camps are not bad at all, especially this one. And I can work on that for my next video! & yes, 3 of them!

Are there any bootcamps that have guaranteed job placement?

I don’t think they can technically 100% guarantee, but there have been a couple that I have seen that work specifically with a company and basically train you for that position. Then you have a pretty good chance of being hired at that company after graduation.

2 months of very proactive applying and networking and I got an internship

Awesome, my career advisor was so amazing. She helped me redo my resume every week, did tons of mock interviews with me and always kept me accountable!
