You probably got a new one by now but for anybody else, yeah, that means your battery isn't holding a charge very well anymore and needs to be replaced. Mine says pretty much the same thing and only last about a half hour before it runs out of power, so I got a replacement. About to put it in now. I thought it would be harder than this lol

Thanks :) Is there a way of making a battery life last longer? My laptops battery lasts 10-15 minutes on its on without the plug-in. And when ever my laptop is sitting on something soft for example a couch it turns off automaticly making a bulb switch sound.

Batteries don't last forever, and their capacity will degrade over time. You'll need to replace it with a new battery if you want to get more battery life as though it were new again. I would never suggest putting a turned on laptop on top of something soft. Only use it on hard, flat, and clean surfaces so you don't block the air flow. If it gets too hot, it can damage internal components and/or shut off. Only use it on a clan surface as well with no crumbs or debris. You don't want your laptop to suck in that stuff because it will have a harder time cooling itself down if all that gunk is in there.

@@zaynxt6293 Yes but my dad somehow opened it, by forcibly removing it. It's kind of broken. We went to Walmart for a battery but we got a charger instead, since both sucked. The battery life is still horrible, so the laptop is now always charging
