General Drill: Teaching Team Defense - Lacrosse Defense Drill

Күн бұрынIn this video Coach Grimm teaches you General Drill, a great drill for teaching and practicing team defense concepts. Coach Grimm will teach you how to build up from 1 on 1 defending, to adding a crease slide, a second slide, and finally a recovery by using the white board and practice clips.

I really like this drill but I would love to see the final step with a 4th defender covering X and the X player dodging. Thank you for sharing!

Nice job. Concepts to build a 6v6 defense around with a near man slide scheme. Slowing ball movement with aggressive yet patient ball pressure will also help defenders to be in good position.

for that first peel example why doesn't your attacker just pass it to the guy at the crease?
