I like how even though Don S. Davies is playing almost the same exact character on 3 shows that he put a little different spin on it, like how he was getting huffy when delivering that line.

Well, you can clearly see the influence of that show on Stargate. A large number of cast, crew, assets, and writers came over from Outer Limits. Brad Wright and Johnathan Glassner, the duo that created SG-1, were producers on OL.

That episode was a disguised clip show that connected various episodes of the anthology and saved budget at the same time. Black Mirror kinda did the same thing, recycling props from previous episodes as exhibits in Black Museum.

If Major Grin takes requests...do a crossover video of John De Lancie (Q) giving Richard Dean Anderson grief in not one, not two, but three separate tv series. He tries to shoot him in MacGyver, they appear together many times in Legend, and then he annoys Jack in SG-1 (including actually shooting him).

The BG in this scene is wearing an Army uniform. MG Hammond was US Air Force. Discerning the differences isn’t difficult. While the Twin Peaks clips were amusing, this is simply acknowledging that Canadian actors were heavily used in Canadian TV shows.

I was always disappointed that sequels were these clip-shows that tied together multiple different episodes. Some of those deserved their own real sequel. And then there's ones like the Jack the Ripper episode that are ruined by having a sequel.

Every other episode of the 90's Outer Limits ended in the destruction of the Earth and/or humanity. Maybe a slight exaggeration, but they loved their dark endings. The 60's show didn't seem so cliched. At least from what I recall. Maybe that's the evolution of anthology sci-fi and horror...it all became about "twist" endings. You can just skip to the endings of the 90's show and save yourself 40 minutes.
