Disappointed ending!! FL should of ended to with second ML who always had her back , protected , believed and stayed by her side no matter what ! General did not trust or believe her at all ! But trust the concubine more.. FL was smart to out wit many challenges with the help of the second ML . Even thou all misunderstanding cleared up at the end . She should of chosen her teacher (second ML) .

for someone who is supposed to be a brilliant military tactician, the general seemed like an idiot who believed whatever anyone had to say without investigation. the princess figured out who slandered her fairly quickly but the general--with all of his resources--couldn't manage it? he would be a hard pass for me. when i saw she had stayed by 2ml's side i really thought we were getting a good ending with her realizing who she really had a good relationship with. don't forget, the general threw a pregnant woman out into the street based on the slanderous words of some random stranger. and he apparently never thought it was important to clear his wife's name if he blamed her for a murder that she didn't commit. women need to understand that being familiar with someone does not mean you are in a good relationship with them. you made a good decision to leave his sorry ass. you made a bad decision to uno reverse and get back together with him. he never apologized. he rightfully accepted the blame for his actions but he never once said sorry. honey, block his number.

The actress playing the female lead is actually really good. She deserves better than this shabby production. Hope she has the right opportunities in the future.

Где то подобрал любовницу, не проверив даже её семью, притащил через месяц после женитьбы в качестве второй жены. Фуууу, отморозок. Какой дурой надо быть, чтобы вернуться и упрашивать бывшего жить вместе, забыв все его выкрутасы и издевательств. Он даже ребёнком не заинтересовался😢. Нормальная женщина будет с тем мужчиной, кто любит её всем сердцем, всегда был рядом в трудное время и нес бремя заботы о ней и чужом для него ребенке. Очень сильно разочаровал финал.

I've read the comments and watched this drama and I'm a little disheartened with all of the negativity. If you understand how these dramas normally go and consider the mindset of tragedy, love tribulations and star-crossed lovers, like Romeo and Juliet, it's very similar. The ending was ALMOST tragic but quickly wrapped up and, in my opinion, wrapped up nicely.... better than others I have seen that were tragic or simply hinted at a possible happy ending. Also, considering that the general was led to believe the female lead had killed his father (reasoning for her being framed explained toward the end) if he didn't truly lover her he would have killed her, to avenge is father but this was as much to show his conflicting emotions toward her. So the second female lead was simply used as a foil. In these shows, there's always another female involved trying to deceive the male lead and it was very satisfying to see that she gained nothing in the end. There are several actors/actresses I recognized in this drama and I was able to finally identify the male lead is Pan Zi Jian. He also played the main role in "Miraculous Detective in Jianghu" which I did enjoy. That mini-drama has similar issues as this one but has slightly better production. I really like him, he's a very good-looking young man and hope to see him in more lead roles in the future. I greatly appreciated the strong female lead, who did not weaken at any point during this story... she stay strong and opinionated and followed HER heart. Frankly, I would have been greatly disappointed if this story had ended differently. The second female lead did a great job as well... I recognized her both as well but haven't yet identified them. Once I do, I'll come back and update my comment to include their names.

I thought this production was pretty well done (aside from audio, which seems to always be a problem). I'm just exhausted of storylines where ML constantly allows 2FL to get away with murder while constantly playing FL like a yoyo (come here, go away ad nauseum). Its boring and stupid. I desperately want to see people making choices like choosing the one who treats you as precious, not the one who consistently hurts you.

Y como lo manifiesto en todos los dramas de está índole, la violencia doméstica no se justifica ni por razones de mentiras y menos una venganza. Si es bien cierto que a cualquiera le duele que le maten a un ser querido, pagar con la misma moneda no los revive y al final aunque logre tu preciada venganza siempre quedará el vacío y como dice el dicho el que lo hace la primera lo vuelve a hacer, tendrá que tener un arrepentimiento genuino para no dejarse llevar por sus emociones En el drama fue mas el maltrato y la humillación que le dió a la princesa que demostrarle su amor, nunca fue capaz de escucharla ni siquiera de tomarse un segundo para investigar la verdad, los hechos hablaban por si mismo y sus ojos no lo podían ver. I liked how the fl was strong willed and never backed down. I don’t feel like she should have ended up with the general at all towards the end. His decision to help the concubine all throughout the drama and have her cling onto him and believe a lot of things that she was saying made me dislike him even more. The fl did play tit for tat and she hung onto the 2ml. Her actions were funny to me because she hung around the 2ml more than the husband. 😂 Honestly the General husband is to blame for everything from start to the end. He never believed his wife and only towards the end he finds out that the concubine and her brother plotted against him. I would have loved to see the fl end up with the 2ml or have a better ending where the general pays the price for his actions.

Dang it! From beginning to end the 2nd ML was always there for the Princess and the General.sucked. i was hoping for her to end up with the cute teacher. Argh! At least the Princess was strong willed and fought back.

This is an amazing transmigration/revenge-plot costume production. The actors are great and the storyline interesting. It kept me engaged all the way. I loved how they took elements from different stories and mixed them up a bit, giving us a different kind of love story "cooked" on the same ingredients as usual. I truly enjoyed this, so don’t miss out on this one. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! A General (ML) returns victoriously from the war and is rewarded with a marriage he doesn’t want. The woman he is marrying is a Princess he once loved but who killed his father. Or so he thinks. He chooses to consummate the marriage on their wedding night despite his mixed feelings. Later on the Princess is told that he has taken another woman (2FL) in and she says that she is to be the mistress of the mansion. 2FL and her maid bullies the Princess, disfigures her face and ends up throwing her out of the mansion - causing her to die out in the snow. Her teacher and friend (2ML), who is in love with her, realizes she is missing and confronts the oblivious General - saying to let FL go if he doesn’t want her. He later finds her and takes her into his home. In modern times, an actress (FL) conducts a stunt that goes wrong, causing her to die. Somehow the soul of this modern woman transmigrates into the body of the Princess in ancient times. Then, a month later, FL wakes up. She is hit by the memories of the body’s original owner and realizes that she has traveled back in time and is now the General's wife, disfigured and pregnant! Quite a lot to take in. I read a lot of comments and they mostly say the ML doesn't deserve the FL and I have to admit that in this case, it is so true. It was always the 2nd ML who was there for the FL. There was no point in time when the ML and the FL laughed together or enjoyed being in each other's company. They were always quarrelling or had some kind of misunderstanding between them. The ML was an absolute douche to his wife. He doesn't deserve the happy ending her got.

I have seen this evil mistress on different drama as FL... All pity abused girl etc...but after seeing her do this evil mistress...I feel she better fits in evil role than all goody goody girl 😅

I found it interesting that the girl from the future somehow managed to retain the real princess memories about her relationship with the general and apparently the love she had for him and that no one really seemed overly mystified by the princess's different personality. She mercilessly "bullied" the general, trying to make him jealous by "using" the second male lead. She really shamed him by openly displaying affection for another man. He could do nothing about it for fear of offending the emperer. But you could clearly see that he was so conflicted with still loving her but wanting to hate her over his belief that she killed his father. As far as always believing the concubines version of events.....he thought she was innocent of any wrong doing and had no reason to lie about the wife as in his mind she was just an orphan he agreed to protect. They had no intimate, love relation. And he believed he really was hoodwinked by the wife when she betrayed him by killing his father. I am glad they both realized that both of them were victims of the viscous concubine and were able to understand they both were justified in their behavior towards each other given the circumstances and could forgive each other and start over again.

I have never seen such a stupid general b4 how did he became a general when he can be fooled so easily and all the time 🤦
