I think he even says "getting a little warm here" while they're taking forever getting everyone positioned around him. He clearly does not enjoy the press stuff. He was probably physically uncomfortable too, because this was soon before he left to have back surgery.

The character was not on the show at that time, and his character was dead. They seemed to include only those who were appearing on the show when the 50th happened.

Everyone in the costume pictures are wearing the exact same thing they wore for the ball or most of them are, so yes it is 2013. I just assumed since it was the 50th anniversary that she was there for that and they included her in the photos.

Why, just because they are standing next to each other and not talking. They had already been talking probably before the pose for the picture and so didn't have anything to say at this point. ONe can't take a moment like that and just assume one is not paying attention to another. Ive not heard there is anything wrong between them. They just probably already did all their talking already.
