Command & Conquer: Generals is a real-time strategy video game and the seventh installment in the Command & Conquer series.
It was released for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS operating systems in 2003 and 2004. While the Windows version of Generals was developed by EA Pacific and published by EA Games, the Mac OS X version was developed and published by Aspyr Media. The Mac OS X version was re-released by Aspyr for the Mac App Store on March 12, 2015.
In the game, the player can choose from three different factions: the United States, China and the Global Liberation Army (GLA). Generals utilizes SAGE (Strategy Action Game Engine), an extended version of the Command & Conquer: Renegade's 3D engine. An expansion pack, entitled Command & Conquer: Generals - Zero Hour, was additionally released for PC in 2003, and for Mac OS in 2005.
Both Generals and Zero Hour were met with highly positive reviews. A sequel, Command & Conquer: Generals 2, was in development, until it was repurposed to a free-to-play game known as simply Command & Conquer. The new game was part of the Generals franchise and was cancelled on October 29, 2013 by EA after negative feedback during the closed alpha test.

For someone who plays Red Alert 2-3, AoE 2 and Warcraft 3, this specific general on hard was the dumbest shit ever.. 1: 1 Super weapon at the first 5 seconds. Then becomes +1 whenever she fires at the maximum of 3. 2: Has Lvl 3 best General Promotion for destruction 3: Invades base with Comanches before you can even build a Supply dock 4: Has Aurora Bombers +4 that never stops bombing This Challenge, is not a "challenge". It's a "Dev Perspective". The whole "challenge" here is just a "Question": "Hmm, how does the Dev want me to play?" That's so utterly bad in game design when it's supposed to be a "Strategy" game. That's not Strategy, that's just "Corridor Play". Because I did the exact same opening here as you did but I just said to myself: "Yea.. I'm not gonna do this boring crap..(just sinking economy at her overly broken opening)". But now that I see that it actually is the answer, I'm just not gonna do the challenge at all... (Sad tho as I'm at 4/7 Infantry China) A "Strategy Challenge", needs to be "Strategically Challenging", which means you can solve it in different ways with different strategies, but still a challenge. Not: "You can ONLY win this way". Because then it's just "Corridoring" without strategy. It's like starting chess with 3 pawns and the opponent has a full board but in specific locations, and you can only do specific moves otherwise you get checkmated. That's not "strategy", that's just "puzzle solving" or "Trial and error". Shit challenge by the devs in my opinion.

actually the opening is agreebly static, but once you survive that you can finish the challenge in a multitude of different ways, I have at least completed this challenge with every general with different styles, nukes, air units, unit insertion, artillary, island hopping, mixed methods you name it but it is not as quite puzzly as you expect

Lol, no, the easier way to know the level against general Alexander, is how many Partical cannons she builds. 1 is easy 2 is medium and 3 is hard. Moreover, you think its medium because no fast hellis attack at start, and that's because i built behind the resources platform. If you do that, they wont come. Learn the game more before you talk.

Agree, this is medium. I did all that you said regarding putting structure from behind but Comanches are still there. Further, whether it is an easy, medium or hard; she always has 3 particle uplink cannons.
