There are some excellent extraction type servers now where everything east of say Kamyshovo is a safe zone and the rest of the map is pvp. It makes for neat little player villages and a fresh play-style for the game. Glad to see Sam back in though regardless of his opinion on the game lol

fun fact if you’re tired of hearing maria menudos talk about whatever at the pump; most gas pumps have 8 physical buttons total, 4 on each side of the screen. the second button down from the top of the right 9/10 times is a mute button so you no longer have to listen to maria menudos.

7:59 I've literally been waiting since 2012 for someone to just make DayZ/Overpoch mod that has decent fps, zombies that don't clip through the wall and not breaking my legs occasionally when opening a door. I don't want to have to eat an entire army base worth of food to not need to eat for 5 minutes, I don't want to loot for 4 hours to get a gun with a mag with bullets just for it to jam, I don't want all my shit to break if I get into a fight and I don't want to download 100gb worth of mods and to jump between servers for 2 hours trying to find one that makes the experience half passable. If DayZ mod wasn't basically dead and had extremely bad security flaws in it I'd unironically still be playing it.
