The Jeff encounter is a layer cake of being forced to do things that you really would rather not. Realizing you need to open the door to the freezer to fix the elevator, needing to push the elevator button right in front of Jeff, that damned headcrab knocking every single breakable object onto the floor. Just when you think your heart can't sink any further, the game finds a way!

Playstation VR was implemented surprisingly well for Resident Evil 7, that was a terrifying experience. If you've never played RE7, I definitely recommend PS:VR as a first playthrough experience.

I've recently been playing The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners on VR and that shit's crazy. I don't often play spooky games and getting right into the heart of a zombie apocalypse has been quite the experience. I'll have to do Half Life: Alyx soon

I bought the Valve Index specifically to play HLA, didn't play it for more than a few hours. Fast forward many years, I finally just completed it using the Quest 3... highly recommend it, it looks so much better than any other headset at this price point (or double or triple, at this moment in time), and wireless makes such a huge difference.

I can't watch this until I beat it myself. Played every half life installment, pretty stoked to see the references to the other games, and out of all my VR games it is the best running, best control scheme and a blast from the past. Doesn't look bad at all to boot, some VR games be very fuzzy around the edges.

I got up to that point about 20 mins in where you're walking through the trains & there's a dead zombo with his arm hanging out that you have to go past. I creeped forward, heart racing, poked it with my gun then decided to peace out after it was confirmed dead because I realised my heart would full on explode if I had an actual jump scare. I ain't risking that xD
