Question for Vic - I am prior service US Air Force “tactical athlete” and am now lifting like a bodybuilder to see how much bigger I can go. I am 32, 5’11” and just hit 180lb all the way up from 160lb in 6 months. My goal now is to grow as much as I can with minimal gear. How much does discipline and mindset play into being a professional bodybuilder? And how high would you rank “mental toughness” as a quality for success bodybuilders.

You won’t be competitive high ranks with “minimal” anything so just forget it just stay healthy and bodybuild naturally or minimal gear for yourself

Happy holidays boys !! My question: About Leg training..how do you manage the lactic acid point, every time i do legs i try to hit it hard as i can but the lactic acid build up so fast and feel sore 2-3 days even with good hydration..good diet and supplements (magnesium,zinc etc)

It sucks that so many Pros that we look up to, don't get... The people want daily, weekly content, why Mags ended, we love the 80's and 90's looks of Pros but their dedication to Fans sucked! They wanted to just have them look at mags and that's it.. Today people want to know and hear, and Sams real as it is way is what people want..

I hardly ever comment on these things. This is a great channel..but I think we're forgetting that we are men in our 40s. He's a 20 something year old kid in college...hes just doing his thing. And the only reason that anybody says anything or wants to report on him is because they want to get the viewership that he is able to garnish. Because he has a huge audience, I think everybody just wants to tap into that... in reality, he's not bringing anything that is relevant to 40 year old body builders. It looks weak to report on him just to get the viewership
