The elements are a reference to the Lego Ninjago Movie. In the movie the gang finds items that represent each of they're elements. It's a cool reference but I hate that movie

The ninjago movie basicly changed season 8. But this set was designed before the movie i think so once the movie came out, the idea was scraped.

Because I'm hobbyless like I am I also went through the linked playlist in the description and I seem to not have found that specific theme in there. I tried doing this but with the ninjago city set last summer. Not the gardens, the first one. All together the parts where more expensive than a factory sealed copy so I tried going through my boxes to find the parts. Never again….

Most legacy sets aren’t bad but I really wish lego took this opportunity to include mini figures we haven’t gotten before or just rare ones that are hard to collect. Dr Julien, Dareth, Gale Gossip, some elemental masters, the mail man and more I can’t think of.

Even just half a like from generic stud would be a dream come true....

In the top of the building, there's three glowing-like elements, one likely represents ice, the light blue one, and the red one represents fire I'd think, which leaves the green one, which in Ninjago fashion is quite strange as Fire, and Ice are opposites so it makes sense they could be related or seen together but Lloyd's power of Energy/Power/Green, is quite unrelated but maybe this season would go into that these 3 elements are more deeply connected? It be a bit strange to leave Cole, Nya and Jay out , unless there's something else going on, perhaps the season was going to be more split up. Jay, Nya And Cole would go off to the Monastery of, Earth, Electricity or my personal guess Water, while Kai, Zane, and Lloyd, went off to the Monastery of Ice, this would bring a very interesting dynamic to the season, as Cole, Jay and Nya, although good friends also have some problems, and Kai, Zane, and Lloyd never really being together and now coming together could be quite cool. In other seasons we've seen the team been split up into two but it's usually more or less been 3-4 ninja go off while the left over ninja stay with Wu, Pixal and the others to deal with the threat elsewhere, which is fine but it could be alot more interesting to sideline Wu, Lloyd's mother and the others for a bit, while 2 separate ninja teams go off on there own adventure, perhaps meeting up at the end of the season for a final fight against a big bad, this would let the show air out for a bit, have the show follow 3 different ninja in 2 different stories, as the slowly progress and get over any left over problems from previous seasons, it be a break for the ninja while going on a big adventure, the stakes wouldn't have to be high (although they could make them high maybe if the big bad took Wu?) either way you'd see both ninja teams throughout the show slowly progress through there problems, in the start everyone will be excited to go off and adventure but then tensions will start to rise, between different people, Cole and Jay could fight and have Nya simmer it all down, while Lloyd and Kai fight over why Kai wasn't the green ninja or some other nonsense, one ninja would always be there to calm it down until the near end of the season were all 3 ninja in each team get in a big fight but they resolve it finally letting there problems fade away, to clear up and be ready for what's next without and passive aggressive behavior or hate towards eachother, they'd then meet up and finally figure out all 6 of them can take down the big bad, or perhaps what I would love to see, Zane and Nya can take down the big bad together, if it's the Ice Monastery, the most reasonable second monastery I think would be the Monastery of Water, this is because as I said, Fire and Ice are opposites, but Ice isn't just the opposite of Fire alone, it has a secondary opposite that is, Water. so if they make the big bad a sort of Electrical, Fire monster, with elements of Energy and Earth, perhaps Nya and Zane would finish it off using a sort of special move only compatible elements can use, this could work the elemental masters back into the story with Bobolo the master of Nature and Cole the master of Earth being compatible, and maybe Jay the master of Lightning and the master of speed or sound being compatible with Jay, and even maybe having Carlos master of metal and Kai being compatible, this is all just speculation for what I think this season could've done, but of course it could've just been a early stage of maybe the Ice Emperor story.
