As an older fan, the whole ‘it’s for kids’ thing gets pretty annoying. Yes, probably children are going to be most of the viewers but I personally don’t think the show is all that childish to be honest. Everything from the animation (not so much the recent seasons though), the themes it deals with and the voice acting are all very professional and well done in my eyes. I enjoy it a lot, I like the concept and it has some very loveable characters, it’s the one show I always go back to to rewatch. Maybe it’s off-putting to some people because it’s Lego, maybe they’d have a different opinion if it was 2d animated and the characters looked more human, idk

It's target audience is kids. It IS for kids. The sets are aged from 7-14. that doesn't mean adults or teens can't enjoy it

I mostly meant it's annoying when people start shitting on it or people who like it, that goes for any show aimed at children, take my little pony for example, from what I've seen it's most viewed by teenagers and even adults and got very popular for with that age range. Im not sure what ratio of children to not children viewers for ninjago is, but I imagine it's similar, judging from the amount of fanart made by older teens/adults that I've seen. Ninjago is obviously made to sell lego and tbh on one hand I'd argue that their target audience is just people that will buy lego, whether that's kids or older people who like to collect lego. Ahh I do apologise I went on a bit there 😅

@@miad6274 I think that the audience is mostly children, as it's aired in children TV channels. It's popular with teens and adults for sure, but I don't think they are the majority, after all kids don't go out of their way to post their drawings/mocs/fanart on the internet

to be honest, the film actually improved a lot of the issues I had with the tv show, the main one being lloyd as a character: lloyd in the tv show was so inconsistently written, especially when it came to his powers because he would have all four elements in one season and then *e n e r g y* in another season. the film opted out of this by simply not giving lloyd an element at all, they just had him be him and that's what made him special...it was a really great way to write lloyd's character.

@Durple Dumpster 2 I know but I just didn't like the energy powers, I wish he kept all four elements. how could the ninja keep their elemental powers, you might ask? I personally would've written it so the ninjas true potential was them not needing their golden weapons to channel their elements, they could just unlock the ability to use them at will

i feel like ninjago kinda grew up with it's original audience. becoming both better in quality but also actually got some more mature scenes in it and at times has gotten some darker twists and plots FX Harumi's lore don't get me wrong it's stil la kids show.. but i still feel like it's gotten more mature over the years even if it's just a bit

Personally, I actually really liked season 3, its a bit weird that people say that its bad, but I really liked how the characters behaved in it, it was awesome to have Zane as a focus ninja, I loved how they portrayed the overlord and made him more aggressive, when Pythor finally showed up to help the overlord, it was a pretty nice twist, and I feel like The Titanium Ninja might be one of the best episodes of the entire show, that's all my opinion though.

Okay, so I do personally believe that the line of Ninjago is currently getting stale, with it just absolutely absorbing every single thing that could be an original ip into just another season or wave. but don't let me stop you from loving the things you want to love! if you like ninjago, that's your opinion. 4:43 Ikr like there’s no rule that says a show made for kids must not be enjoyed by anyone other than kids like wth. There’s this idea of “artificial maturity” (that some dude on YT making a video essay on The Lego Movie 2 pointed out) which basically means having to stop enjoying the things you enjoyed as a kid as an adult for the sole reason of being an adult. Like who really cares. Enjoy what you want to enjoy (as long as it doesn’t hurt people of course)

This should stop in my opinion. Ninjago fans hate lego star wars and lego star wars fans hate ninjago and this should stop. Ninjago and lego star wars are the best sellers for the lego company. Lego star wars has unique starships, duel sets and battle packs and ninjago has well priced motorbikes, cars, mechs and more. This is just my opinion. Btw he has a small shelf for lego star wars and the Kai fighter is also at the bottom

I watch Chima when I was very young and time to time I would think about it I could never remember the name, and I genuinely wasn’t sure if it was a dream or not I could look it up at all because searching up what I remembered about it made me look clinically insane I should probably rewatch it to see how much of my crazy plot points I remembered are actually correct

@@Animal_lover0529 Im not saying ninjago is bad, I'm saying I am more attached to my chima fan status than ninjago one... chima had barely 3 seasons, ninjago has 15+ At the time, Chima had a way more bigger world and lore right at the start. If it wasnt cancelled it would for sure bring more on it. Chima also had a mmorpg before ninjago did any game online. Basically, I prefer a story about war than a story about the chosen one

Crazy to think some ninjago fans are now younger then the theme itself. I’ve been a fan for so long and grew up with the sets and the show. Hell i still remember getting a disc with the 4 pilot episodes on it and a spinner for my 6th birthday, now i’m almost 16 and it’s crazy that it’s already been 10 years since that moment. I still collect sets mainly for display purposes, mostly the sets from the 1st and 2nd wave from the pilots that I don’t own yet. To be it’s the best “season” but that’s mainly nostalgia probably lol

I've been here since I was 6, and that was like...a decade ago! There are plenty of people as old as us and even older who like Ninjago. Don't listen to the bullies. They only have power if you give it to them.

Chima is actually cool and theres no reason to pit it against ninjago theyre both awesome and we can love them both (especially since they exist in the same universe) and look youre a cool guy and your content is great but can we stop with the chima hate, i know this is just a joke but the theme has been trashed on for so long (and very undeservedly might i add) and theres no real reason to hate it as Ninjago is alive and well and really never went away Chima has come and gone but by continually hating on it, it feels like new fans of lego will only be exposed to chima through cruel jabs against it look i understand this is for jokes and all but as a chima and ninjago fan thats just my take and I think youre a cool guy despite what content youll put out

The worst thing is when you buy a ninjago set and then they no its for kids buy something more like beeds or something like and if ninjago is for kids also beeds are for kids~the second worst thing is when somebody sees me watching ninjago and say no its for boys you can't watch it I mean like what does nya,pixal,skylor,misako,haromi,and many more are doing? Chima is good, I love it very much. I think y’all should give it a chance. It gets hate for so reason. It’s only 3 seasons and season 2 is only 6 episodes. Also it has a very good score. Please watch it and if you do make a video about it.

Okay here are a few.... -The movie is the best thing that's come out of the franchise -Ninjago is just for small children/ "babies" -The voice cast do a really bad job -Ninjago should just end and be replaced -Darreth is useless and serves no purpose in the show -Generic is a bad KZfaqr I disagree with all of these.
