There's nothing wrong with not having the best tools. As my grandpa who was a woodworker always said: "you can't judge a craftsman by the quality of their tools, you judge them by the quality of their work." And as someone who ended up doing antique restoration, I couldn't agree more. My favorite coworker is this guy who is in his 60s and does some amazing work with only his hand tools that are all about as old as him.
