North Collins are a group that produce somber, reflective and experimental folk music. Fronted by husband and wife Robert Pycior and Celine George, the duo have kept a relatively low profile in the Rochester folk community, releasing their first self-titled release in late 2015. Their take on indie folk calls to mind the lush and sometimes minimal sounds of such genre stalwarts like Andrew Bird, Owen Pallett and Sufjan Stevens. We caught up with the duo and a couple of their friends backing them up, performing selections from their release which will confirm their rising status in the Rochester scene.
