A couple of weeks ago my husband put on a Disney show rescue rangers. I pled with him not to show our children any secular cartoons. He assumed it was fine since it was from the 80s. I found an episode where the males characters went under cover as women and another male character admired them. Also other episodes with magic.

I thank the Lord God for Bible teachers and You tube...what puzzles me is after 6 years of a true believer ..they all preach the Bible does not contradict its word .Only wish God was more clear there are to many interpretations.

@@samuelwallace2829 God set the bible up to read and reread. Each time you reread a verse it should put a smile on your face because a door opened in your brain. It helps me greatly to pray for understanding before I read. God bless.

Thanks for your honesty. I was a Roman Catholic but saved by the Grace of God about 38 years ago. My husband had been a Catholic religious brother for 19 years. He left that religious order and the Lord led him to the Truth. He led many to Christ and it was wonderful to serve God together. He is now with Christ. What a wonderful Saviour. Just keep walking by Faith and may the Lord give you a precious moment with your husband where he understands what Christ did for him. There is always hope. Prayer is our weapon. I have also heard John MacArthur preach on this passage and teach that they were demons. I'm really surprised to hear Lawson preach the typical seminarian view that the sons of God were the believing line of Seth.

The term ' sons of God' only referred to angelic beings in the OT. What took place was a group of angels who left their heavenly estate and came down to earth and took human women as wives and bore half human, half angelic hybrid 'monsters'.

This was my question to if they were believers they can not fall away from the faith...... And there were only 8 saved so there were no other believers at that time.

This world is not God forsaken, for God is STILL striving with man. STILL giving man opportunity & time to turn from his sin, repent and follow Him. But we do not know just when He will stop striving with man. What a Mighty God we serve. @@saints82 Sandy, if you haven't figured it out yet, Satan runs this world. God allows it, that's why this world is so evil, wicked and corrupt. The Bible says the end times will start with a sexual revolution which has happened, followed by a homosexual revolution, which has also happened. Next comes a reprobate mind which is here now. All we can do is pray 🙏 that the church is raptured very soon so we can all escape from this horrible, Godless, unholy world.

Giants could mean powerful men. Actually the translation Godly men or people marrying ungodly makes more sense in Context of the bible. Because if it doesn't mean this you have to deal with the issue of the souls or the lack thereof of their off of the offspring of the fallen angels, and their offsprings offsprings.

I agree with you. These sons of God were not men. Neither were they fallen angels or demons. They were actually angels who had not fallen yet. These were LIKE some of the angels that visited Abraham, Lot and others. They had the body of men. They ate like men and I am sure there are other human things that they can do. During their visits they saw that women were beautiful and went in unto them. God asked Job where he was when the foundations of the earth were laid, when the morning stars sang together, and when all the sons of God shouted for joy. These sons of God were heavenly beings..NOT Seth's offspring. This is my first time listening to this Pastor

@@fredsavory9789 my comment on genesis 6, was from research done by biblical scholars, based on ancient linguistic writings... when it comes to a discussion on the nephilim, that discussion isn't one that involves a salvific or instructional nature, as it pertains to holiness ,in an individual's walk,or sanctification. (as far as I can tell,in an immediate application). I am aware that scripture is for edification, instruction, and correction, and to address your question of, have I recieved the Holy Spirit, I can answer in the affirmative. I appreciate your zeal, but to aspire to telling someone what one is "suppose to say" or think,may be a little presumptuous, or may not be factoring in the different functions that exist within the body of christ. Hiesers assertions regarding the text in gen.6 may be inaccurate, but I have ,after hearing other opinions, chosen to "endorse" his conclusions, based on linguistic evidence..
