Genesis G70 lining up in the 1/4 mile with a C7 Corvette, and a BMW...possibly an M4, though I'm not 100% on that

That's impressive that Hyundai / Kia / Genesis are really improving on their performance. As a lease, it's BMW, if it's long-term ownership and my own cash, I'd take the Genesis G70 all day, every day. Great upload.

@@tysonprice109 I work for Genesis. Im also an EV technician who has owned over 30 performance and or high end foreign sports cars/coupes. A few Benz coupes, Rx7, RX8, 8 BMWs (including an e39 that's 1jz swapped). All of them were fun. As of now I own a M3 (fun), Scion tC (beater), 1500 Chevy 5.3 LS, (work) and just paid cash for a reliable new car that I'll keep for a while... a new RC350 F-SPORT. If I chose a lease, I'd go BMW M Comp or MB AMG (not a 4cly CLA AMCheap). Genesis Hyundai has WAY too many quality control issues to sort out before it can be taken seriously. The service department I work at is fixing infotainment systems, wiring harnesses, cheap electronics and even replacing engines at an alarming rate. The amount of loaners given out is 1 for every 2-3 cars sold. I love Genesis, but it's not a car you keep for more than 3 years, so might as well get a prestigious European brand with good customer service over Korean. Don't even get me started on Ionic EVs, stay away for now unless you like taking gambles

@@tysonprice109 That's very cool. I was a BMW guy but test drove the Genny G70 and was REALLY impressed. 300hp is more than I would ever need tbh..

Awesome! Looks like either a tuned 430i or a stock M440i. M4 has a different grill, hood, and front fender.

Not a great start by the Vette and naturally it would/should have won, but dang, you can't say the Genesis is a performer.. the complete package

Bmw and first g70 were tuned and the vette was a sleep at the tree. Everyone can thank bmw for the stinger and g70s, it was their engineers that Hyundai stole away.

Engineers don't belong to companies. Hyundai employs some of the best engineers in the business now and as a result it speaks for itself in the real world and apparently on the drag strip. 😁
