Hi, D. Maybe you already read it, but the drummer of Soda Stereo was always the same, but in this concert he was 11 years younger 😅. It really is a Soda Stereo concert for MTV, recorded in 1996 (when MTV was about music 🤔). And this is not a Soda Stereo song, it's a cover: the song belongs to an argentinian band called Vox Dei. You should check these songs from their concert "Me Verás Volver 2007": - Hombre al agua - Corazón Delator - Signos - Texturas - No existes 🙏🏼 You won't regret. Greetings from Spain! ❤️

This was part of Soda's MTV (un)pplugged in 1997 Confort and music for flying. It's a cover song of another argentinian band called Vox Dei of the earlys 70s disc The Bible. Soda played this song only for this concert.

This is an MTV unplugged from the mid 2000s. Gustavo the singer- guitarist died due to a cerebral vascular accident which had him in a coma for 4 years. He died in 2014.

Génesis, es un tema del LP de Vox Dai "LA BIBLIA", obra maestra del rock nacional editada en 1970!!! Pero Gustavo Cerati, Alberti y Bossio podían con todo, podían interpretar cualquier cosa. La muerte de Cerati es algo devastador para la música nacional, tenía tanto para dar aún!!! Tremendos músicos. Gracias por divulgar nuestra música!!!

The band consists of: •Gustavo Cerati -singer/guitarist/leader of band •Zeta Bosio: bassist •Charly Alberti: drums/percussion (same drummer as always) He wasn’t looking at lyrics, most likely looking down at his pedal board. The other musicians are invited & some do appear in their larger stage performances, as touring musicians to fill in for pianos/keys…etc.

Soda siempre tiene más músicos tocando detrás del escenario que no siempre fueron los mismos. El vocalista, el bajista y el baterista siempre fueron los mismos, nunca fueron reemplazados.

Nope, that's Charlie Alberti. The one and only drummer Soda ever knew. I've always compared this song's performance to Nirvana's cover of Leadbelly's "In the Pines" in their MTV Unplugged show. This is Soda's MTV Unplugged show, and they closed it with this cover of an old blues song, just like Nirvana did. BTW, Gustavo Cerati passed away a few years ago at just 55, in case you didn't know. What's next? A live version of "Sueles Dejarme Solo", from the "Me Verás Volver" Tour 2007. Cerati goes all Pete Townshend.

Hello brother of music, this is the unplugged from MTV-1997, which was not unplugged as you can see, this song was an extra (bonus track) tribute to a mythical Argentine rock band, this song come from the great album LA BIBLIA, recorded between 1970 and 1971. On the other hand, I will tell you that very few times there were only 3 in a Stage, they always played with the support of a keyboardist, at least and on the ME VERAS VOLVER tour they played with a keyboardist, second guitar, percussionist, acoustic guitar and another keyboardist.

This is a cover of a the song "Genesis" by Vox Dei, an older band that did an album called La Biblia (The Bible) back in 1971. Their genres were Rock, Progressive rock and Folk rock. La Biblia is a double album considered Nº 14th among the best albums of Argentinian rock by Rolling Stone magazine.

Hello! Soda Stereo was, is and will be the best rock band in Latin America - and better than many others of international fame. Argentina is the country with the largest number of rock groups and all of them are very good. Have you listened to Indio Solari y los Redonditos de Ricota o con los Fundamentalistas del Aire acondicionado? Going back to Soda, we are talking about a musical group from the 80s/90s. All those who are just getting to know her are amazed. Unfortunately, Gustavo Cerati is no longer with us 🌹(voice/guitar) - he misses him - but as he would say: Total Thanks!🙋🏼‍♀️🇦🇷❤️

Los nombres de las bandas del Indio deberías habérselas puesto en castellano, en inglés no salen en ningún sitio, imposible que las encuentre así 😅. Además, los nombres de las bandas o artistas no se deberían cambiar por estar hablando en otro idioma, te lo digo de onda. Es lo mismo que a nosotros nos recomienden escuchar a las Rocas Rodantes, en vez de llamarlos por su nombre: Rolling Stones 😅. Saludos!

It's unbelievable that this song wasn't included in the album CD MTV(Plugged) "Confort y musica para volar" which was released in 1996 (MTV played music videos at that time). This song is a cover of a mitical Argentinian band called Vox Dei. Unfortunately Gustavo Cerati (Singer and Guitar) passed away in 2014 after 4 years in a coma because of a brain stroke. The hole album is a masterpiece. Greetings from Argentina. Vamos Argentina Carajo!!!

They were the same musicians, but this unplug video was from early 90's and the on stage video from late 2000's, Gustavo, Charlie and Zata (guitar, drum and bass) SODA STEREO!!! I used to listening them back in early 90's when I was a kid!! Thanks to my Auntie Vicky!!!
