The G Screen from Genesis Offroad - What is it, Why do you need it, and How it works!

Shane gives you a detailed look at the G Screen Monitoring System, including some hidden features that you didn't know existed! The G Screen will show the voltage of 2 batteries independently, it will tell you if the batteries are linked together or if they are isolated, and it is also an in-cab boost button to jump start yourself if your cranking battery is dead. You can also add our optional digital air pressure sensor to monitor the pressure of your on-board air compressor system. I like the old school LED look in vehicles! The small package won't stand out in older rigs. Very nice!

Do you have to pay for gscreen upgrade after going version 3

It depends. Over the years, we've done a few upgrades that only require a firmware update to add the new features. Those upgrades are free - just send us your screen and interface module and we flash the firmware, recalibrate, and return it to you. We have also done a couple of hardware updates that do require a small fee. The first one was in 2016 when we added the port for plugging in the digital air pressure sensor. The second hardware upgrade was in 2022 to allow the earlier G Screens to be compatible with our new Gen 3 Power Hub which was a major overhaul of our dual battery systems.
