If you have a blue red rooster and trying to reproduce blue reds is it best to use a blue hen or a bb red hen? Thanks I’m enjoying your videos!

In my opinion i think the first year it is okay to do bbr and blue red so it doesn’t get to much of the same trait. Kinda like fawn over SDW too many times will lighten the color. but that’s just me though, other people may have their own ways of doing things. We’ve never done that cross so we wouldn’t know. Not all of them are just the rooster, the splash pullet and the chicks are. But I can assure you they are.
