Great job Genevieve I am a mother of one girl and three boys now all grown but I always thrifted and still do it saved me a small fortune and I love thrifting .A few months ago I got beautiful neutral leather 3 seater couch for my daughter not a mark on it . My daughter read an article that said Cat & Jack will take returns up to a year after purchase with a receipt. Even clothing torn can be replaced with new ones. All 4 of her boys, ages 2-11, wear Cat & Jack and love the clothing. You found some adorable items for sweet Claire. I love that you are thrifting, I did the same for my kids and do the same for myself.

My kids were super tall so I cut off the feet on their footie pjs and sewed ribbed fabric on (like what you would see on a jacket sleeve) and had them wear socks- also, the footie pjs always came with plastic soles which made their feet sweat. So much more comfy without the feet.

So many cute clothes - you’re so blessed to have a consignment store (fairly) close to you. There are not many (if any) where I live and my Mom friends have always relied on hand-me-downs from friends/family or rely on sales in stores and on-line.

So smart to save money now. She will be a teen one day and this might not work😂! Can’t wait for a baby fashionista fashion show!

I love buying & donating baby clothes to thrift stores so that someone can get them at a cheaper price 😙

Take the items she grows out of back to them. We do this for my grandsons and basically just buy what we make on the clothes. Its like spending nothing :)

When I had the 3rd, it was when my daughters were 12 & 10 yo so I needed everything plus it was a boy. So off to consignment shops & I bought everything I possibly could. When my son grew out of the clothes I sold them back or took credit toward more clothes. It was fun, easy & a much cheaper approach!! Have fun & enjoy every minute with her!! 🥰❤️

My daughter slept in those open bottom gown through the toddler yrs.. my favorite picture is of her standing in front of the Christmas tree in a gown that she wore as an infant 3-6months..

For girls buy sleeveless dresses to use for every season - put long sleeve onesies underneath for winter. And of course sleeveless is perfect for summer. Tights under dresses are great because you don't have to worry about socks constantly coming off!

Dont always go by the size cause things fit sometimes even though the size seems too big.

You can always take those clothes back to Once upon a child and resale them and make some of your money back!

Just an idea but my son was long as well so I had alot of cute footies I cut the feet off and sewed them like pants❤

Am I the only one who feels like once upon a child does not have great prices? When they are having extra sales or coupons they do have good prices but otherwise I get better deals shopping clearance and smaller local thrift stores. Maybe it’s just me. You did find some very cute things though.
