In long run senior position you can earn more in js than in java because there is already a community base for java but not much in js. So senior js developer earn more than java in long run.

Don't miss lead others, Java is old technology than MERN so it has more opportunities. Only startups are hiring for MERN developers it's a normal thing. It's not like Java is more popular. Java for security Node for speed and reliability

Nobody is using Node full stack . Companies started with Express migrating or migrated to other frameworks . Only early startup use MERN.

Main issue I have seen is hiring most java developer are expected to have an experience of 2/3 + years which as a fresher is tough for me but I don't love MERN because it feels like I am walking in herd of sheeps , still No option if there is less opportunity for java developer then have to go for MERN coz in the end job matters .
