Iron man’s suits have literally been able to analyze opponents moving significantly faster, and copy their fighting style or at least learn it to beat it. That alone should be proof enough.

Say something required 10 teratons of force to obliterate but you hit it with 20 teratons, you will have gone over the 10 teraton requirement but still would have ultimately accomplished what was needed, so in all actuality, Rhodes with his War Machine Armor could probably pull off a greater feat of strength doing the same thing he did to bust the Manhattan sized rock and we could have gotten an even BETTER idea of what he is capable of, cause while an impressive feat in itself, that in no way implies the limit of how much power he can output. As for Genos, there was nothing to state where the limits of his feats of strength end either, but that's the thing with Death Battle, they take the best feats of strength they can find as the best examples of such. This is not to say btw that your insight is incorrect! Far from it as what you've said makes sense, still, I believe what they were doing was noting the amount of force it would take to PUSH the centipede back as far as he did given it's size, so the math ends up working out actually, besides, Rhodes/War Machine was resisting Genos the entire time himself, was he not? Even with all of Genos's strength, he couldn't physically overpower Rhodes, if he could, he would have broken free before Rhodes could blast Genos with his Arc Reactor beam.

MCU Rhodes is a weakling compared to Comic book 616 Rhodey The War Machine armor from the comics can withstand multiple nukes, canon Mandarin's energy blasts, and the Phoenix Force flames Genos' cannons are almost like a light breeze in comparison

To be fair to MCU Rhodey, his suit wasn't nearly as high tech as comic Rhodey. It was also disabled by Vision's beam, so it was nothing more than a big hunk of really heavy metal falling really fast towards solid rock and dirt. If anything, he should've been more than paralyzed by that fall.

Neat, WarMachine has reacted and matched the Living Laser in a direct confrontation with him, who is a literal living laser, on his own. He has AI systems that help run his suit that function in Picosecond timescales. And scales to characters like Iron Man, who has dodged light beams before. So WarMachine still far outscales in speed Thick armor that could tank ramming into manhattan and planet - star levels of energy, and can even phase through objects (he has had this in 2 different armor sets btw, one with a slimmer look like a traditional Ironman armor, and a 2nd one that was just his normal Warmachine suit).

⁠@@ICTON123Genos in his 10 second arms mode reflected a near planet busting attack, meaning he also has that level of d/c. Also Genos has kept up with characters moving at near light speed, and has insane dura with his monster ascossiation arc upgrade. Rhodes wouldn’t be able to touch genos in the first place, genos would obliterate him in an instant, and even if Rhodes did attack him, it wouldn’t do any significant damage to genos. Read the manga you idiot

@@DeliveryTank because comics (and all media really) ignore the fact that armor doesn’t nullify all damage to your body. If marvel wrote iron man realistically, one good punch from the average marvel villain would give him a concussion just from the whiplash alone, but no one writes armor realistically because that would be boring, so characters like War machine can tank extremely hot laser beams by merit of “the armor is strong enough.”

To be fair, it's mostly because his opponents are more OP than him, but yeah, he does get trashed a lot.

That's why his latest upgrades involve his body parts being able to detach from his main body to counter enemies who try to pull off his arms etc. He's learning strategies. The problem in War Machine's case is that getting hit with a giant flamethrower again and again wouldn't be too bad if you're mostly machine, but Rhody is completely flesh and blood. He would get cooked in his armored suit long before the armor itself fails.

Okay, most of the characters you noted already had their series ended when they came up to Death Battle (Boruto does not count as during Naruto vs Ichigo we didn't even know it would continue then, and the actual Naruto series is considered concluded for them. So for all intents and purposes, Naruto and Sasuke's stories had been concluded at that point, it's now Boruto's story at that point. Do You think that Demon Slayer's an anime original or something? The Manga had concluded when Jonathan vs Tanjiro came out, which is why they noted later series feats. And we literally had no idea that Yusuke would add that much into the OPM Manga which is not there from the WebComic, seriously it's insane, per chapter he just added another feat that just completely up-ended everything) And the main reason they do this is because they can neither say that the other character's story would also end completely or if the result would change (largely it doesn't), such as for DBZ (which is also why the Death Battle Curse exists). Which is why they always wanted to change the "Let's end this debate once and for all" tag line, because they don't believe that once they talk about it that it will end, they don't consider themselves the end all of all debates, this just their input to entertain other people. And people seem to think otherwise

Last I checked nobody on the DB team are psychic, time travelers or Omniscient So for many series, like comics or manga for example, it's only inevitable for some information to be outdated

The thing is, they don't know when their series will ever end, because if they do wait for series to end, we may never see several characters be used because of that, for instance you probably don't wanna wait 10 years for One Piece to end so you can finally use Luffy in a Death Battle, at that point One Piece is not as relevant and that battle doesn't get many views

One thing that they didn't add was the fact that War Machine can integrate with any type of machinery...toward the end of the battle they should have had Rhodes say something like "Cool cannons, I think I'll take those" and have war machine absorb him into his own tech.
