Kaeya's story is actually much more deeper and tragic when you think about it. He was left as the only hope by his father who is was a Khaenriahan. Kaeya was then adopted by Diluc's father. Him and Diluc were inseparable then Diluc's dad died and Kaeya could do nothing and he felt the guilt of being somewhat relieved in his death because Diluc's family bound him to Mondstadt and when there will ever be a time when Khaenriah and Mondstadt will be against each other, Kaeya will be in the middle. One nation is his real home and other sheltered and gave him love when he couldn't get to his home.

Dont forget about scaramouche , he tought that ei saw no worth in him after he was created , so she abadonded him and sealed his powers , after that the raiden shogun was created , no pure emotions Yae saw scara crying in his dreams cause of holding the gnosis inside of him, ei tought that it looks painfull , so barely thats why he got abadonded After that , he woke up of the sleep after he got abadonded , he had a friend/family of kazuhas genologic tree , he and other peouple od inazuma noticed that scaramouche is connected to the shogun so they begged him to help for inazumas sake , he went to see yae miko and asked for help , yae agreed but the help was never there. After that , some time went and he also abadonded scaramouche cause he saw him as a useless thing He saw someone like him, a child nor without family , they lived eachother and helped eachother , scaramouche said that he cant break one promise of a voodo dool (i dont know exaclty) but the child was too curious so he broke his promise to him , the child died . Scaramouche then was collexfing supplies , when he got home , he saw him dead He joined the fatui after to collect the ,,supreme gnosis"

Karya was spy frm khanreiah he confessed it when diluc father died making diluc get furious he attacked but suddenly kaeya vission got unlocked and they get separate that's why you won't see them talking nicely to each other for those who are wondering what's kaeya back story

Diluc’s dad dying in front of him isn’t even the saddest part. In addition to that, the knights covered up all the great things that his father did and told everyone that Dottore did it. The reason they did this was because they didn’t think a “mere businessman” would be suitable for the title, but a fatui harbinger would be. This led to his hatred towards the knights and him leaving them. Oh yeah and Kaeya (who was pretty much his brother) outwardly supported the covering up of his dad’s heroic acts. Now you know why DILUC hates Kaeya too.
