Being a content creator for this game must be awful because you have to rush through while I'm over here picking flowers for fun

I feel like this is less of a guide and more of a man being driven to the edge of insanity by a Chinese free-to-play game. 10/10 , I subscribed.

So i am not the only one collecting flowers and fruits. Eventually I also started enjoying cooking and fighting random monsters who dare to cross my path. I am at level 18 and enjoying the grass and sky and fights.

My ADHD could never....any sparkle I see I grab, any thing catches my attention in the distance I head towards it regardless of the mission I’m currently on. A curse and a blessing lol

Me, an AR27 already feeling like my characters are real underpowered : *smiles nervously* update : i am now AR43 and my highest damage dealer is at ATK 1.7k. I still feel underpowered lol update 2 : just hit AR50 two days ago, world level 7, with two main damage dealers up my sleeves both at 2.3k and 1.8k at this time. Still need to beef up the last artifacts both with atk%. But im glad to say that lvl90 monsters don't intimidate me anymore LOL

I dropped Genshin when I was AR30 and started picking it up again a few days before Inazuma started. I was playing blind and hardly did any quests aside from the Archon quests because the story was interesting, but then my friend who's at AR56 taught me so many things that I've been missing. Edit: Hello! I've returned 5 months later to share little tidbits for all the newcomers for the game! I'm currently AR55 so I've learned a lot compared to last time, *so here are some tidbits I'll note down in a much neater and simplified fashion:* -There are 2 different leylines: Blue (for level up materials) and Yellow (for mora) -Do not let your resin cap! Use them to beat bosses and domains so they never stop refilling. -Invest into your character's talents, your power level will increase by leaps and bounds -You can unlock all domains at AR45! -Consider collecting all the anemoculi and geoculi as soon as possible to increase your max stamina. Use an anemoculus/geoculus detector to detect the last few ones you can't find, which you can craft once reaching a certain reputation level in Mondstat/Liyue. -Genshin Impact interactive map will save you a lot of trouble when farming. Unfortunately, it's not linked to your genshin acc so you'll have to checkmark things by hand. Saving your progress in an account does help though! -Consider investing in an NRE. It basically puts food in your hotbar spot so you don't have to open your inventory to eat food -Regarding artifact and character builds, the general rule of thumb is to find artifacts with crit rate/crit dmg. Avoid flat HP (basically not HP%), flat ATK, flat DEF, and DEF%. -Good crit rate/dmg ratio is 1:2 -Try and aim for at least 50% crit rate -For geo characters, you don't really need elemental mastery -For anemo characters, you definitely need elemental mastery (esp if they're supports) -Read through your character's attack descriptions to see if they scale off of anything. If they do, invest into whatever they scale off of. (Ex: Barbara’s healing scales off of her max HP, so invest into some HP% artifacts) -Watch some videos about building certain characters! Some characters have some niche builds and aren’t as straightforward as others, so look at what the guides recommend. Alternatively, look into an AR55+ acc and see what builds they use for their characters and use them as a base for your own character. 7 months later, AR57 stuff I've found out or forgot to add: -On the map, if you see a white arrow on a pin to your destination, if it points up, that means your destination is above you. If it points down, it's below you. -Overloaded dmg ignores crit, and scales off of elemental mastery. It ignores target's DEF but instead its pyro resistance. -If you swirl an element, there will be an element that will be prioritized more than the other. The order is pyro > hydro > electro > cryo. Ex: If there are enemies that are inflicted by pyro and cryo, when you swirl, it will swirl pyro. Dendro and geo does not swirl. -There is now something called an "attribute/talent reference" for your artifacts and talents! If you're not sure which artifacts to slot into your character or which talent to upgrade first, look at the top right of your screen and you will see the attribute/talent reference. For artifacts, it will show a recommended attribute slot for that character and artifact. For talents, it will show the recommended order to upgrade your talents. That’s all for now! I’ll add more when I can think of some.

He did it in the video but apparently a lot of people don’t know about this: if you need certain enemy drops (like if you have Bennett and need treasure hoarder insignias all the time), you can track them using the Adventurer’s Handbook >> Enemies!

when I first started playing I was always getting everything I could find because I thought one day I might need them (one of the first things I did was spent hours in first spawn just getting eggs, crabs, plants, flowers, fruits, meat, and random stuff) one of the main reasons why I was leveling up so slow (ignoring story quests to get resources) but I'm glad I did lol

My problem is that as soon as I unlocked Liyue I was having so much fun exploring that I raised my AR to 35 way before I had the resources to strengthen my characters to keep up. Now I’m running into the resin scam. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

A quick summary: 1.) FARM YOUR DAILIES, this includes Daily Bosses, Comissions, etc. Don't skimp out on free resources you see lying on the ground, don't skimp out on the enemies because you can't be bothered to fight them. DO your expeditions, Get Ore, GET those resources because overtime, IT ADDS UP 2.) FARM TALENT ASCENSION MATERIAL WHEN U HIT AR 36 3.) Unless you're a Whale, SAVE YOUR PRIMOGEMS instead of using it for resin, saving it for when you're AR 40 becomes much MUCH more efficient as you get better and better rewards for the same 20 resin. 4.) Don't bother leveling your support characters to 70, prioritize your main DPS. YOU CAN ASCEND THEM TO GET THEIR PASSIVE TALENTS, ascending doesn't cost character EXP books but it allows you to upgrade talents, get passive talents, and a relatively good boost to your stats without needing to level them up. 5.) EDIT: Chests are confirmed that they do NOT respawn. 6.) Get the free Mora, bunch of videos regarding this but he lists down all of them so watch the vid.

The (by far!) most important advice I as an AR54 player would give to new players is this one: Every item matters! No matter how much of one resource you possess if there is more lying on the ground pick it up! If you have 400 mint and you never needed them and you see one right in front of you COLLECT IT! There have been so many times I pillaged everything in my way and months later I suddenly needed 200 of that resource and I was so happy that I already collected em all. So pick up every item you find in the open world even if you think you don't need it rn. This goes also for low quality artifacts because you'll need em to level up your high tier artifacts.

Leveling up your talents was something I didn’t realize until AR 28 and it makes a big difference and I agree with leveling the talents up quickly as you ascend

I’ve been camped at AR35 for at least a month, avoiding the world ascension quest. This lets me build, level and compete with under leveled characters and still enjoy the game. I’ll eventually move up, but it seems like an arms race that doesn’t need rushed. Yes I could get 5 star artifacts more easily and level characters beyond 70, but then the world enemies are much tougher too.

I love how genshin has impacted this man🤣 He has been consumed by the game and as a viewer I’m loving it

This game is designed to _motivate_ players toward p2w. I believe the tip for casual players is to simply _take it slow_ ; rushing toward gated objectives will only yield the frustration the developers desire so that wallets open up more easily.

I watched this guide when I started playing, I still made some mistakes such as not leveling my talents because I didn't understand fully how much it means (I'm a bit slow), but I'm happy I took to heart the tip about collecting as much as I can, it saved me a bunch of time already on ascensions! Now that I went on and watched more in depth tutorials, have more understanding of the game, I come back to this and it still serves as a really good reminder list so thank you for putting it out!

I have no idea why people are in such a rush to complete this game. It's single player. There is no one to impress but yourself with your max level toons. It should be experienced at a much slower pace as a relaxation game.

There should be a secret side quest where Childe calls you out for picking up the 200k Mora chest too many times.

when I first got into liyue harbor and was going around exploring I jokingly went into the bank and was like "lol imma rob these bitches", went upstairs, found that chest and when I opened it I was absolutely shocked. I'd randomly found it and it was just an amazing surprise tbh

I need to stop watching vids like this lol, they give me this existential dread about bottoming out in a game I play for fun lol

Thanks for the video Mtashed, I didnt knew like 3-5 things you mention and those will really help me, im ar 35 right now after a month, let the farming begin!

So three general points: 1. Start expeditions for resources (do it first 'cause it's gonna take 20 hrs). 2. FOR LOWER LEVELS, use resin but DO NOT spend anything to get it back, let it recharge. (do bosses, domains, anything useful). 3. GO discover the world, GRAB everything (if it sparkles take it), KILL everything, LOOT the chests. 4. Have fun. (yes this is the fourth of the three, the most important) Notes DO NOT invest on a lot of different items Mix quests in between No.3 Keep your fragile resin until later to maximize high level grind Level up everything in your main team, levels, weapons, artifacts, talents. Food helps a lot (wasn't mentioned) When getting to AR36 max everything If I forgot anything watch the video. (most important)

I appreciate every single info that someone gives like i be collecting the most basic things i see on my way and started to go for more monsters instead of being afraid to fight them or just don’t wanna fight them like the smallest thing could make a difference it’s better than nothing

KZfaqrs and their "NOW NOW DO THIS NOW" mentality is gonna kill this game sooner rather than later. Yes there is stuff to farm but there is also time. 4'ish weeks to 1.1 and 2 and a half months to 1.2 minimum... This is a not a sprint, its a marathon, getting stronger without anything to fight doesn't make mugh sense and if you farm now you'r only gonna not have much to do when new content comes. Take it easy, play at your pace, don't grind and get burnt out.

I love Chili's I collect EVERY SINGLE CHILI SPAWN when one of them spawns again and rinse and repeat I have an overabundance despite having 30 of the jade parcel food at all times... sadly said dedication doesn't extend to crabs and the difference is honestly minimal

Tip on Ore Farming. If you have Ningguang, she has a talent where if she's in your party, Ore Nodes show up on your mini map. The radius where they start to show up is pretty large as well. You're welcome. 😉
