Wuwa made me fell in love with how i can rush things, especially with the parkour system. As someone who doesnt want to waste time up to hours (for now their story dialogue are painful, and even then the load is so unoptimized like the textures)

wuthering has many advantages over genshin , the most important of which is the presence of a skip button , In addition, wuthering still in its early days and it's impressive , it will have a good future

why does my edges of my character stil seem blurry? my settings are the same and my pc isnt cheap either

i have potato pc and cant do the additional graphics settings in wuwa so i gave up. my main issue with it tho is the music, hope they put more immersing osts esp exploration ones next expansion

Is it only me or is there anyone else with lagging problem? if i keep the game idle the ping is 50, if i move my character or jump or do anything at all the ping suddenly varies upto 800 and also frame drops and lags. My pc was able to run genshin smoothly in low and medium graphics, but this wuwa has some issues i guess? any thoughts? any fixes?

The Game has bugs too many bugs I have had crashes so many lag and stutter issues, textures not properly rendering issues even with a 4060 to boot... The story is I am gonna be real here I didn't skip anything in the beginning but the more I heard them speak the clueless I became they were throwing random words all the time and YangYang's en VA gave me migraine, so I started ignoring story all together... Now Gameplay is one aspect that I love about WuWa so much I love the combat the exploration is good, the open-world is pretty but again can't enjoy it properly because too many bugs it reminds me of "Batman Arkham Knight" PC release If u guys have played that game on its release u would know..!!! So all in all I am not having a good time with the game right now and I am waiting for them to fix the bugs..!!!

Wuwa has been pretty good so far albeit the hiccups. I like the gameplay and character. The story is okay. The gacha is less painful than Genshin, you can even exchange the 5* character's 'constellations'!

I don't know why the environment in ww is a little less unified. The texture seems to be slightly different between stone, soil, buildings and others. Just my opinion playing both games.

I prefer Genshin because of it's actually feel like a Anime world wuthering waves feels realistic.

As much as I love WW, I think they’re still not sure whether they wanted to really focused on Action RPG or open world. The combat is superb but the rest definitely subpar. I was easily hooked since I never played HI3 nor PGR. But since I played GI and HSR the story seems worse compared to both, and the visual design is completely bleak. I know the theme is post apocalyptic future, but there are literally dozens of other games with such themes but not so bleak design. The color and lighting are literally washed out. They used too much filters to render the visual very grey. I think that this game is not on direct competition with GI, but instead with ZZZ and Arknights Endfield. All the three literally use the same post apocalyptic story with some mutation monster disasters with ZZZ less on exploration and Enfield less on heavy combat mechanics. This game is between them both and that’s quite problematic. Kuro want to hogging many genres into one game and it was super rushed. They rely too much on customer feedback that they change the base of the writing and world building. I’m glad at least they keep the game mechanics around. I hope they will settle on a more clearer ground and improve before the players are leaving. 😢😢

Wuthering Waves: Better lighting and reflection Genshin Impact: Better movement and realistic animation (Especially swimming and sprinting) Love both though. And I wonder, what changes to the graphic we'll have in Genshin 5.0.

I'd like to see the current similarities as Kuro paying homage to Genshin since I believe some of the devs likely played the game during the covid/lockdown era. We are still in 1.0 and there is definitely much more work and progress to be made, so we should give the devs sufficient time to further refine the game. But overtime I ultimately believe Kuro will progress further enough to define and able to develop their own uniqueness in Wuwa since their direction will be different from Genshin.

What wuthering waves lacking is good music where you can literally tell that you're in a foreign land by hearing traditional music of the said region. Like what genshin impact did.

If we're talking about graphics, I think UE4 got the upperhand on making textures looks more detail without sacrificing performance. WuWa's NPCs doesn't look super blocky and uninteresting mainly because of it. The physics it's about the same, didn't see much difference. The animation is of course better on GI because when the combat is turtle-paced, you cannot mess it up by making the animation looks choppy. The combat mechanism of WuWa is definitely a dumbed-down version of PGR but it's the main highlight that separates WuWa and GI. It's button mashing and not button mashing at the same time. You can't just proceed to combo and call it a day; you need to actually react in time to not get obliterated (if we're talking about boss fights). Also, if they managed to replicate that epic fight versus the Unidentified Twins of PGR in WuWa, damn I'd be impressed. As someone who also played ToF and almost required to make a funeral for my wallet, I was thinking about the comparison between ToF and the two games we're currently talking about but unfortunately ToF would just lose by a large margin in terms of graphics, physics, and animation since a big portion of its revenue most likely spent on fixing and improving the server due to it being an MMORPG.

Wish wuwa has that weight on their animations tho yeah their animations are flashy but the physics are off.

I played WuWa last night on launch. Made it about an hour before I got bored of the very subpar gameplay and graphics. Not smooth like Genshin. Looks and feels very low budget

man i can't even play the game! :( i have 1 fps for 7 seconds then i get like 20 fps for a brief moment and then it goes back to 1 fps and freezing. i got all settings on the lowest... i can play any other game completely fine but this game is just so unoptimized

I love graphics of both game genshin is colourful and vibrant it feels like an actual fantasy while wuwa is relatively dark and lives up to its sci-fi theme.

In all honesty, the only redeeming factor about WuWa is its combat system…

They copy+pasted Hoyo's homework and added a slightly darker filter. Then they made it run horribly for good measure

MY friend do you try out to play fps uncap? then you will see a differnt. i cant play on 60 fps anymore or without 2k . its amazing. sitll genshin is better from story. just a few feature they should take over from wuwa. but genshin is still best game. much love :) hype for you upcoming vids

4 hours into the wuwa it feels like its very bland and like the world is not alive, the music is terrible, the story is shit but the combat my god its amazing and the echo mechanics is fantastic that good job there but feels like many will be burnt out eventually

It's basically Unreal 4 vs Unity Genshin is more colorful but lacking contrast, some texture also appears blocky specially on npc but it's way more friendly with low end hardware and more stable (well it's 3 years old game) WuWa in other hand have great lighting setup and way more contrast color aesthetic and have more texture resolution, sadly it's also ask for more demanding hardware and currently way more stutter (but they kinda fix it on 1.0.2 patch also gives player free *5 standard character)

The walking on stairs part on wuwa looks so creepy. I know genshin isn't also perfect on that part but it just looks weird 😂. It's a little disappointing because i expect the optimization to be good since it's Kuro Games and their other game PGR is so optimized it can run smoothly on an old phone. -gameplay is fun in wuwa. -tried to understand the story but too much jargon. i just gave up and skipped dialogue whenever is available. -music is meh. -the red scar dude kinda annoying, the english voice i guess. -too many red head characters. so far i got 4 of them -traversing is fast to the point that i don't have time to soak in the environment. but still fun. -weapons are kinda uninspired. -sometimes laggy

They are portraying it as intended to be: Genshin is a fantasy Ghibli-esque world, Wuthering Waves is a dystopian setting with drabber colors and higher contrasts.

People never played anything other than genshin thats why they come here and say Wuthering waves is simillar to genshin like dude, in that sense genshin is copy of zelda! Yall need to realize these are games of same genres so there will be similarities.

WuWa literally has a graphic that similar to HSR

genshin world art is made simpler so that even potato phone like my redmi 10c can play genshin comfortably, Wuwa has more complex effects on the world art that it needs higher pc and phone specs than genshin. but wuwa higher spec requirement really worth for what it offered than genshin's HUGE game total file size. . if wuwa step up its game in story telling and the BGM music, they definitely can make huge amount players migrate from genshin because being bored too much as old higher rank without end game content in genshin

tbh WW deserves more players just by fixing every complaint about the game in one week(with great compensations) while genshin doesnt give a sh*t about player feedbacks unless its fron mainland china.

I like genshin's artstyle (Vibrant colors and sharper graphics) more than the dark and blurry one from wuthering although they're made on different engines which unreal is not the best for artstyles that aren't meant to be realistic. The music on wuthering is just meh. It sounds like one of those relaxing music videos here on KZfaq. Genshin outright beats it in that department. For the performance related stuff. I haven't had any major issues other than that the game likes to micro-stutter sometimes (I'm using a RX 6650 XT and a 7 5800X3D btw).

I like WuWa’s characters as they look more matured. Like finallyyyyy, so refreshing to me at least. I kinda got bored with Genshin characters because 2 of the archons are lolita and a lof of them are child-like characters. But I gotta say, Genshin since Fontaine dropped is a major advantage.
