The whole Anemo being about depression thing is wildly taken out of proportion. A lot of Anemo users don't have any sense of loss, despair, or futility like Sucrose, Faruzan, Heizou, Sayu, etc. In fact, most Anemo users have their visions way BEFORE they even experience tragedy and loss and is not a result of experiencing loss in the first place. Xiao had his vision when Zhongli summoned him prior to the war, Kazuha had his vision before the whole Vision Hunt Decree started, Venti doesn't even have a vision cause he is an elemental being, Wanderer gets his Vision by reclaiming who he was and accepting that he can't selfishly change the past. The pre-requisites are much more clearly defined because of *reasons* now.
