Me too.Exact same sort of strawberry-vanilla type of a scent not too sweet but lightly sweet and balsamic as they say.I can also detect the cloves and the patchouli very easily but not any cinammon or iris.I can definitely say it triggered my interest enough from the get go

Word of advice. DO NOT SHOP AT WHOLESALERS!!! I've been shopping at a couple, and when you check the batch code, most of what they sell are 2 to 3 years old. Also, not knowing how they were stored can wreak havoc on an already compromised fragrance due to age.

@@GucciButNotGuilty depends. when you factor heat when in shipping or storage in 3 years vs 2-3 months, makes the perfume really worse.

I bought ysl y edp and loved it for a month, but now in the dry down it's been smelling weird and sour to me. I've stored it well and tried spraying it differently and taking breaks from it, but nothing has helped.. I know it's probably my nose being weird, but has anyone else experienced this?

I had the same experience. Smelled it on a test strip in the store and loved it. Tried it on my skin later and there was something unsettling about it. Maybe the sharpness of the fruity notes was too much but I actually disliked it the more I smelled it and I got a headache. And yes the dry down gave off a very synthetic and metallic sent. I’m returning it tomorrow and getting Givenchy Gentleman Intense. $40 cheaper and just as versatile as YSL Y EDP in my opinion. Also, the more I smelled YSL Y EDP the more it smelled like something a teenager or young adult would wear. Too youthful for an older guy like myself. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it
