PS. I took a break for a couple of weeks and it was delightful, thank you for checking on me, it was very sweet of you, guys :D Hope was your New Year celebration? This video was recorded in June 2021 and it was such a pleasure to edit during cold winter, I hope you can feel the warmth from the sun light! We rented out this car for couple of days to check it out and decided to record a quick video for you, because it was so amazing, that's why it was recorded it in a LoFi style, which I hope only adds to the charm of this video :) Thank you for being here ♥

All I can suggest, if it's not too painful for you, is to try to see and feel his presence in the things you enjoyed doing together. Her layover voice is the most tingly for me. Check out her Mustang video and Ocean Meditation video which has a similar tingly layover voice. I wish she did more voice layovers but this Audi video, Mustang video, and Ocean mediation video are the only ones I have found so far. I think she did a travel blog voice layover video once but I can’t find that. Overall I do wish she did more of those voice layovers.

I also agree, that was very new and _very_ effective. It sounds like the same audio track panned wide in stereo but one of the tracks is ever-so-slightly offset. Totally awesome.

@@prettyytrash I see... I didn't know the English pronunciation of the brand tbh. It has a rather interesting history with Audi being the imperative for "listen" in Latin. I think it was chosen when the Horch (German imperative for "listen") enterprise searched for a new brand name with a similar meaning. Thinking about it, audience might come from the same Latin verb stem and of course we are all in fact Maria's listeners. So still a rather valid connection I'd say 😄

I almost forget that the soft spoken is added afterwards. It blends so well with the atmosphere. I love car videos. They are the only videos which makes me wanna forcefully open my eyes and keep looking at the beautiful road. It gives serene, calm feeling. It also gives me visual relaxation and I'm so sleepy but I can't sleep cuz I live to look at the road. Even when I'm with my family on the drive, I sometimes don't sleep just to not miss the beautiful road journey. I love it❤❤

This video takes me back to my family holiday trips in Europe back in the days. My dad would always drive in the evenings in order to avoid traffic jams and it would never take me long to fall asleep. There's something so relaxing about being a passenger while someone drives at night :)

@@meganbarber4721 in Hong Kong, the worst time to travel is 4-9pm 💀 sooooo many students and workers rushing home, MTR, buses and whatever you can travel on are packed! I avoid travelling at this time so weird to see someone travel in the evening to avoid traffic 😅

I don't normally comment but I just wanted to say that your car videos are some of my favorites! I'm someone who finds car rides/road trips to be really comforting, so it's always a treat :) (especially since trips aren't exactly feasible right now) The sound inside the car is so quiet, and combined with the drive at twilight, it reminds me of summer and makes me really nostalgic.

When I was a baby, my mom would put me in a car seat and drive around the neighborhood until I went down for naps. I only know about it now from my mom recounting the memories, but I imagine it felt similar to how relaxing your car videos are, Maria. 🥰 Thank you for always pushing the boundaries of what can inspire ASMR!

the lo fi ones where people rummage thru/tap on/'play with'/etc things is so nice! and i love these car ones, im not even in to cars specifically but they make such nice asmr noises lol. and the low hum of driving/sitting in passenger seat is very soothing!!! hope your break was restful and just waht you needed!

Part of me wants to enjoy these kind of videos, it really does but this car is £64,000 or $68,000 and I just think the world has gone mad, the gap between people who have and have not is getting wider and wider to the point where it's almost borderline impossible to rise up through the usual means, uni, work ect but that's the way we're taught from day 1

That echo sound makes your voice sound futuristic! I like this effect! If you were the voice of any system (like Siri or Alexa or even the GPS voice), I would end up being in a mesmerizing daze or falling asleep lol! It's sooo relaxing!

Wow, what a wonderful video. Your voice has such a slow and dreamy quality in this video. It probably makes editing more difficult, but voice-over clearly allows you to focus only on how your voice sounds, without also having to think about what you are doing in the video. The occasional echo is also very nice. As with the Ford Mustang video, your hand movements are really relaxing. I hope you make more videos like this!

Omg Maria 😍 Again nailed it with introducing us this beautiful car! Always thought your car videos are the best ones you do, like the airplane ones. Now I realized why - your voice is as its softest in these! It's the kind of voice tone I prefer the most - there are no higher notes in it 😆 To me it's always impossible at the first time not watch it at the same time, so I've promised myself to watch it first and afterwards I only listen. This was also produced very well! Love the filming and the sounds. Perfect video in so many ways👌🏼Made me memories my childhood car trips when we used to travel with my family - the happy times when my dear dad was still around. He past away three years ago. I love your car videos so much! I just love the sound quality. Is it an American thing to say Audi like awdi? In Australia we say owdi like howdy without the h! Weird how different places say it differently hahahahaha. The way you say it is so much more tingly! Ps: hope you guys reading this and your families have a great 2022! I live in the US (in the same state as Maria actually) and I’ve heard people pronounce it both ways! But I believe the most common pronunciation is “owdi” :)
