When I was about 5 years old, Nautica Voyage had just released. I was in Dillards and a lady gave me a sample of it because I was crying in the store. When she gave me the free little sample I cheered up and stopped crying. I’m 20 now and still have that sample 1/2 full in my drawer :) Nautica Voyage is one of my favorite fragrances in my collection partly because of that, but also because it has an amazing smell!

Next, expensive fragrances that smell cheap! PLEASE!

My dad went to high school in the 80s, and Drakkar Noir was his scent of choice. It's the only fragrance I've seen him wear. I loved smelling it when I was young, so I would occasionally sneak into my parents' room and spray it on myself. It smells so clean, but extremely powerful and masculine. It always reminds me of my goofy, strong, and badass dude of a father. I have a collection of over 120 bottles and Drakkar Noir will always be my choice if I could only keep one. Both because of the olfactory connection to my father, and because it smells amazing.

Cool Water, Obsession and Drakkar were my bottles when I was a teenager.

Love your no frills reviewing you’ve really got this stuff down to a science so many people spend 10 years explaining things without saying much and you are able to be concise without being vague really appreciate your work

I’ve been ripping compliments wearing drakkar. Don’t be bashful recommending that stuff. Current generation doesn’t know what it is and prior generations still love it.

I have a little 30ml of Drakkar Noir. I wore it to work today. I got a compliment. Today can’t get any better.

I hated Versace Blue Jeans when I first bought it, but what’s crazy is it got me more compliments than almost all of my other ones sadly, so I don’t even like it but everyone around me loves it 😂

For around $20 or so, I really enjoy the Cremo line. I have the Bourbon & Oak and the Blue Cedar and Cypress with Silver Water and Birch on the way. I also bought 7 of the Cool Water line (the original, Wave, Pacific Summer, Summer Fizz, Freeze Me, Summer Edition, and Night Dive, plus their underarm deodorant), all of which I enjoy very much.

Quorum is actually a fragrance I picked up because of you, and how I found your channel. My wife and I were cruising around some random small town when we stopped at their Bealls. Went in to see if they had any fragrances, and really the only men's fragrance they had was Quorum. I did a quick search on KZfaq to see if I could find any info on it, your video popped up, I watched a couple seconds of it and just knew I had to grab that bottle. Subscribed right then.

I walked into ulta one day and smelled chrome azzaro and it was the day I started buying fragrances.

Nautica voyage is the ultimate refreshing hike/gym cologne. It just smells like morning

When the first bottle I bought was Dior Sauvage Elixir, 2nd was Versace Eros Eau de Parfum - 3rd was Drakkar Noir, no regrets.

Blue Jeans is my absolute FAVORITE from Versace and is the fragrance that got me into collecting fragrances.

TB ST Barts, AF First Instinct together, Perry Ellis Red, Individuel, Banana Rep Black walnut Legend, Mont Blanc Starwalker, linen Vetiver along with some you’ve mentioned I’ve picked at rack stores

Nautica has always had a place on my counter. Use it still to this day.

My favorite cheap cologne is Proffered Stock by Coty. Yeah it's an 80's scent but I can still pull compliments with it.

I don't love 80's fragrances in general, but I gotta say Drakkar Noir aged pretty decently throughout the years imo... I honestly don't find it as oldschool as others from the same era

I'm pretty much on board with Ash's selection/recommendation but Joop Homme Ice is a no go for me, even at $20.00!

F Black is awesome, I’ve gotten lots of compliments from the ladies wearing it. Another one I recommend is Lapidus pour homme. Its an 80s powerhouse fragrance, so its out of style. But it LASTS! All freaking day. Super masculine and you will be noticed.

New Drakkar is a shade of its former self. Get the Belcam clone of Drakkar. It's $8 and smells exactly like the original formulation! I own both, and the Belcam is superior.

Antonio Banderas' Blue Seduction is a solid addition to that list.

Since ash talks so much about drakkar I went ahead and bought a 30 mil today and oh man yea this smell is very familiar. Since I was younger I didn’t really appreciate scents the way I do today but I must say the opening is wow, the heart notes are actually nice. I still haven’t went through the full dry down but I’ll keep this bad boy in the car for emergencies👌🏼

Drakkar still kills. Wore it to a frat party and got 3 compliments within 15 minutes

I bought Nautica Voyage because it was so cheap and every single KZfaq reviewer loves it. I loved the opening but the dry down on my skin was disgusting. I had to wash it off because it made me sick.

I've only tried two of these. Nautica voyage wasn't that great and gave me a headache. Quorum is fantastic, one of my favorites for sure.

Forgot to mention any of the Cremo colognes. Some of those are top notch.

Drakkar Noir and similar have been around for 40 years, and, of course, shower gels today mimic the scent. They don't smell like shower gel, shower gels smells like them

I think designers need to be more consistent with packaging to ensure it reflects what the season you're trying to portray. If you have a blue bottle, that will always imply warmer months.

People make fun of Drakkar Noir it was pretty much one of the most fragrances in the late 80's and 90's. Like Yves St Laurent Korus I used to wear that every day even Quorum.

Jaguar Green is a real underdog in thr cheapies. Amazing longevity and dense masculine smell, $15, try it!!

I like Azzaro Chrome Pure (white bottle). Very unique like an orange creamsicle.

I still like my Drakkar Noir,Versace Blue Jeans and Davidoff Cool Water. I recently finished off my Cool Water and bought a 4.2 oz bottle. Drakkar Noir is my favorite though. I probably should order a back up bottle or two.

Nautica Voyage fresh shower gel fragrance and with Versace Jeans strong floral, for sour -vinegar smell sweat you need VS Jeans sprayed on your shirt specially on you underarm then spray Nautica Voyage on the skin☺️.. these 2 cheap fragrance are needed in a warm-humid season (everyday use) , like Philippines a tropical country..summer 2023 is comming in the Philippines.( Both fragrance are commonly available in malls ) but incase of emergency just in case you forgot your 5ml canister just run in 7/11 and buy Axe 280php 😁✌️ ~Watcher in Cebu-Philipines

Currently spritzing Jean Marc Paris Homme Noir... And digging it. Shout-out to the Jaguar line too, vision sport is terrific. 7/10 of my showers end with that because of how clean it is.

I have barely heard of Drakkar Noir (been in the frag game for 3 years). I was rewatching it's always sunny in Philadephia for the 15th time and one of the mid-2000's episodes referenced it. I blind bought it and I instantly recognised it cos all my uncles wear it.

I hate Nautica Blue in the sail bottle. It was probably one of my first fragrances. Even though I was about 16 years old, I thought it smelled super cheap like a body spray. The atomizer wasn’t great and the connecting pipe (straw?) that reaches to the bottom of the bottle fell off, making it useless. I wasn’t even half way through the bottle and I had to throw it out.

I’m actually wearing Drakkar right now two years after you’ve made this video. I wear to work quite a bit and people always ask me what it is. Funny.

La nuit de l'homme smells a lot like a fall candle, like you would smell at Christmas time. F Black smells nothing like it. Definitely agree with your assessment.

I have Nautica Blue Ambition - you probably would avoid because it is a flanker of Blue, but it is actually a Dior Sauvage CLONE... Not so much the opening, but the dry down is extremely close - at least 85%, I'd say... Would love your thoughts on it but it's not around much anymore I don't think - but where it is still available it is still dirt cheap. I think it was $14 or less when I bought it on Amazon for 100 ml.

Cool Water is 20 bucks for 4.2 oz. Hard to imagine that, I remember when it was MUCH more expensive than that.

Never smelled Quorum but I would say Drakkar Noir which I love reminds me of Polo Green a lot.

Ashton, what do you think about Sean John 3 AM, Pepe Jeans Celebrate and Jaguar Pace Accelerate? Don't you think these fragrances deserve to be included in the list of better options in the under $20 range?

Hello Guys. I have some questions about Dakkar Noir, Plz help me for answers. 1. How many spays we can apply for a long day (about 10 hours working at office) because when I apply this fragance for 6 or 7 spays and disappear afters 2 hours . 2. How about longetive and sillage of Dakkar Noir. I absolutely love Dakker Noir. Because average about freshness, sweetness but no longer for me.
