"Draw 10 000 of something"
So 10,000 particles it is today.
On the FUSE chat, I was pointed towards the R&D folder of the FUSE repository on Github, and in there I found a working implementation of a Spatial Hash, a setup that enables fast lookup of what particles are nearby. Which in turn enabled me to use a function I always loved, connecting closeby particles with thin lines.
