Genuine Leather On Amazon | How to Make Leather Earrings On A Cricut With Scrap Leather

I love to use genuine leather scraps to make real leather earrings on a Cricut machine because it is so economical. I can make so many pair of earrings from the scrap leather.
And Amazon has great scrap leather. In this video, I share one of the scrap leather kits available on Amazon and show you each sheet, along with examples of how well it cuts on the Cricut.
It's easy to make diy earrings on a Cricut machine. You can cut both faux leather and real genuine leather on a Cricut machine. For genuine leather, you do need to change your blade to the deep cut blade and use a purple strong grip mat as well. If you are cutting faux leather on a Cricut, you can use the normal fine tip blade and the regular green standard Cricut mat.
The leathers in this scrap kit was beautiful and most of them were super soft.

Thanks for sharing this. I have ordered scrap leather on Amazon before, but it cane all stuffed in a bad and is full of fold marks. This leather looks to be packaged carefully to arrive in usable condition. Also, the colors and patterns are 😍.

How long can you use your deep cut blade before it is dull. I have been using the knife blade and can usually cut 3 pieces of leather and it’s dull. It gets pricey too quickly.

Yes. I always use the deep cut blade for genuine/real leather. If you are cutting faux leather, you can use the regular fine point blade.

Didn't realize Amazon had leather kits. I purchased a 3 lb bundle on line from one of the big box craft stores. Even though the leather was good quality and large pieces, it was just brown, black and tan colors. That got real boring real fast. 😂😂

I love black and brown leather. But I agree that having a variety of colors is much more fun!
