Oooo! Ooo! Ooooo! Mr Foreman, Mr Marshal I have a fun fact about Hampstead garden suburb! So due to the noise all the congested traffic makes residents who lived there decided to try put new windows on their houses to get some peace and quiet, however many of them were shocked to discover that almost all of their homes were grade listed for historical value so many of them couldn’t have their new lovely windows put in and the people who did had to have their ones specially made to look like the original ones. So if you ever look closely you’ll see many disgruntled people with the original windows and a shutter behind them to try and keep the noise out as well as the lucky few who have their precious double glazing! Also another fact is that due to the grading they also have to pay money out for all the shrubbery in the front gardens for some reason. Found out all of this from a few customers I have living there. 😊

The way youtubes algorithm awaked a burning interest for london in me: 1. suggesting Londonist TfL 2. recognizing that Geoff Marshall is the guy behind which has another youtube channel 3. 'unfinished london' from Jay suggested directly after a Geoff video. Now my youtube consists of airplanes and the london tube. Sometimes the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express gets in between, especially when I tend to view reviews of first class flights. I must admit that I'm happy with all this the alorithm suggested me. I only subscribed to Londonist, that brought the algorithm to suggesting literally every video from the Geoff channel and Jay's channel...

I'd quite like to cycle the entire, or a good section of the, Great North Road one day, which would go that way. Unfortunately there are quite a few bits where it intersects with the modern A1 between sections of A1(M). Those would have to be taken on reaaaally early in the morning. And they're not exactly spaced at convenient distances. Watling St might be more manageable.

Do the A6! I wanted to do it myself. I live at the halfway point and we have a pub/restaurant called The Halfway House.

My friend used to work at the dinosaur mini golf a few years ago. I once went on a night out with him where he took mdma and had to work the following morning. He said he was crying from the comedown while checking the customers in.

I feel like the grand finale of this series is Geoff and Jay start at one end of England and keep driving until they drive into the ocean and they get too soggy to continue filming
