Geoff has a range of 5+ octaves. Misty Mountain Cold will blow you away. As will Folsom Prison Blues

Thanks for doing this one. I think it's absolutely gorgeous. It's not his highest highs or lowest lows, but it is arguably the most gorgeous tone throughout an incredible range.

If you want to witness his range in its fullness, you should try his latest release, Chris Isaac's "Wicked game", or his second song from the Hobbit, Ed Sheeran's "I see fire". Or even his last Halloween song, "Jack's Lament" from Nightmare before Christmas. 🙂 That said, I just LOVE his rendition of this song, and his "voice acrobatics" (I still can't wrap my mind around that sudden octaveS from in the second verse... 😅). Enjoyed the reaction, see you next time! 🙂

Of course Geoff's bass is amazing. But I love his upper range even more. I never thought anyone could do this better than Bill Withers, but I was wrong.

I’ve been a patron of Geoff’s for years now and have been around since he started his channel. This is still my favorite song he’s ever covered and probably always will be. The arrangement is so fantastic and it highlights all the truly beautiful parts of his voice.

Everything geoff puts out is amazing! I definitely recommend his newest, wicked game. Some of my other favorites are an older one, high and dry by radiohead, jacks lament, house of the rising sun, man of constant sorrow, and any of his Halloween ones. They are all fantastic though 😊💜💜

This is the very first video I ever watched of him. Made me fall in love with him. I joined his Patreon as soon as the video was finished. Through him I found Voiceplay and through Voiceplay found Pattycake Productions. I'm on all of their Patreons. Have been for almost 2 years.

@@setonhillstudios Pattycake Productions is owned by Layne Stein, beatboxer of Voiceplay and former member Tony Wakim. They have original videos where they bring Disney characters to life with extremely talented actors and actresses. They are also where Voiceplay and Geoff Castellucci film most of their videos. As well as other artists. I love all of their videos but some of my favorites are.... Villains Haunted Mansion. Bump In The Night. Will of Oz. Villains Lair series is their most popular and is absolutely amazing. They bring a lot of the different Disney villains together to plot revenge on the good guys. They just released season 2 episode 5 Life's Not Fair...last month and are working on episode 6. The main villains are Evil Queen (Snow White), Jafar, Cruella, Gaston, Captain Hook, Maliciefent, Stepmom and sisters (Cinderella), Queen of Hearts, Rapunzel's mom, Ursula. Other villains come and go throughout the series.

@@setonhillstudios PattyCake is the production company co-owned by VoicePlay's Beatboxer Layne Stein and an ex-VP Baritone Tony Wakim. Tony left them pre-pandemic. As I understand it, he wasn't as into the touring and really wanted to concentrate on more video oriented stuff. PattyCake is a whole other rabbit hole. Layne and Tony write original songs into kind of mini-films with a LOT of emphasis on Disney characters. Their on-going series is built on a bunch of Disney villains ("Villains' Lair") coordinating together to get revenge on the 'heroes'. They have also done a lot of other themes. You HAVE to check out "Bump In The Night" for next Halloween! PattyCake is also where MOST (but not all) of VoicePlay's and Geoff's videos are shot.

Also Voice Plays cover of Hell Fire from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Also Voice Plays newest cover of The Lion Sleeps Tonight. Pay close attention to what is happening in the background in this one. It is hilarious.

My introduction to Geoff was 16 Tons. From there I found Voiceplay and have been hooked ever since. This cover showed me that he can act. It's amazing! Now, in House of the Rising Sun he's just showing off.

This us why I say Geoff is VoicePlay’s gateway drug. You get hooked on him, next think you know you’re craving hits of VoicePlay. 😏 I literally listen to them on the daily. If nothing else, it’s a few slower songs to help me unwind before bed.

Geoff's range is five octaves, and all smooth as silk. A0 up to A#5. For a long time Geoff insisted he is a baritone but he's too modest, he can sing bass up to tenor. And that's official,.Peter Barber, the bass operatic singer, told him so. :) You need to know that he also creates his own musical backing. Clapping and playing his keyboard with plugins. It's all him and usually his wife Kathy in charge of cameras. And then of course all the editing.
