As a younger guy I was the one salaried guy whom worked nights. Every now & again there be doughnuts left from meeting earlier. They'd tell me to just toss what I didn't want. Of course often I'd share with the factory guys, but a couple times I'd just kill a dozen by myself. Doughnuts are one of those foods that everybody loves.

2 of my doughnut observations are.....the Long Johns of today suck compared to 40 years ago. 2nd they started putting stupid sprinkles on them. I once asked the baker why? She said the kids like them, I looked and pondered over then why are all the ones with no sprinkles already gone.

Best are fresh with just sugar and cinnamon. From the show (travelling fair?) is elite level. If you have to have gooey donuts, strawberry is ok, but not stuffed. Filled donuts are too much. You’re astounding how much dense stuff you can eat! Well amazing all round with what you can put away! Bloody hell, the milk alone was enough to feed a baby bullycalf.😂❤
