What if the brutal soundtrack of God of War trilogy sounded like the brutal music of doom eternal? We’re going double brutal this time folks. I, geoffrey day, have made something so stupidly angry that if played during the campaign of any god of war game, no matter which level, kratos would wipe out all of the enemies in an explosion of pure rage and then immediately transform into pacific rim kratos. That part was awesome.

Thank you! Yeah I was worried about that. I think the high pitched choirs make this song what it is. My final product is still sorta similar in spirit to the original but hopefully it represents kratos in an argent/doom franchise context. The theme is 100% his, and that’s where my head was at while writing.

Without the extra depth in these songs (like the choirs, adding distortions for emotional context, using power tools etc.) I don't think they would fall flat or anything like that, but I don't think they would hit as hard and have the soul that they do. I hope you're able to carry that through with future projects, because this Argent Metal can stick around as loong as it likes, imho!

Chances are that nobody’s gonna see this, but here’s some ideas i have anyways. I’d like to hear either the Gambit theme from Destiny 2, or *Long Live the King* from Destiny 1. They’re both a bit slower than the Doom soundtrack, but I think they’d feel really good in Argent Metal. I also think that the Ridley theme or Mother Brain theme from Super Metroid could be fun, seeing as they’re a bit bland and have a lot of synth elements. Finally- and I know this is weird, but.. I think a remaster of the Doom 3 theme in proper Argent would be cool. I know it’s already a part of Doom, and Mick already kinda redid it in Harbinger from Doom 2016, but I think you’d make it sound truly amazing. Uh, anyways, that’s all. To anyone who actually has the patience to read this far, uh.. thanks! Have a nice day/night! :)

I'm trynna count the God of war soundtracks that will sound perfect as Doom soundtracks , I'm running outta fingers to count... The amount of Unique Aggressive Soundtracks the Gow Trilogy has is immeasurable , If you wanna do another soundtracks from Gow (you should btw) Here are some humble suggestions: Vengeful spartan theme from Gow 1 -Important Brothers of blood ( Gow 3) - Important Zeus Wrath divine ( Gow 1) - Important The first Minotaur ost (not the boss fight/or the boss fight, idc) (Gow 1) Colossus of Rhodes soundtracks (Pick anyone lol) (Gow 2) Pegasus soundtrack (Gow 2 ) Second Hydra soundtrack (Gow 1) Tides of chaos (Gow 3) Rupture of war (Gow 3) -Important and there many others that dont come to my mind , but I have never found another game that has such consistant Uniqueness and aggressiveness to its soundtracks

The first time I stumbled upon your argent metal covers I was blown away and immediately hopped into your Uploads page looking for the God of War Soundtrack Doomified.... It's finally come to fruition I love these games so much

This is actually pretty sweet. I could imagine this both playing in doom 2016, doom eternal, and just about any god of war boss fights. It also kinda sounds like what might play on those after the final boss missions where you’re being swarmed by countless enemies and you’ve just got to survive through a timer for a portal to open or someone to pick you up so you can just barley escape before everything around you explodes into glorious fire and blood as mist

Man, I would love to see the Mordekaiser theme from League of Legends in the Doom style. His theme already has a lot of ambient sounds, and he's the most Metal character in League, so it would be perfect.

Can you arrange some Shin Megami Tensei music too? I would love to hear tracks like Fierce Battle from SMT3: Nnocturne or Battle B2 from SMT4 in Doom Metal!

It definitely fits thematically, and a lot of SMT music also has a hard rock vibe to it that would be perfect for doomification

God of War always had fantastic music as of a result of mixing orchestra with aggression. It’s a great combination that you rarely see in properties outside games since films, plays, etc have a different focus. Awesome combo here of Doom and GoW.
