O the pagan world was certainly more beautiful than ours! Of course maybe that extreme visual beauty was the flip side of the barbarism and cruelty of life in that same empire of pagans? Our own world is no less cruel but that is another story. Geoff this is Clifford Duffy writing in from another account.

The pagans erected a masterpiece like the Pantheon. What is our contribution? Barbaric architecture by the likes of Le Corbusier.

However the O Pantheon is not as beautiful as the Parthenon. Perhaps an unfair comparison as they were built for different reasons. I am no fan of Marcus O😂
