One thing I like about this channel after watching many of the videos, they managed to stay neutral on political issues. If there is a controversy, address it, but don’t rush to comment unless you’ve done your research. That’s a scientific approach to issues that many media lack these days.

Not so neutral... have u noticed He always uses colours to separate some States of India frm India the state of Arunachal Pradesh (which China claims to be their although they have literally no Legal base of their claim) and Indian side of the State of Jammu&Kashmir (evn though King of The State,My King,in 1947,Signed the Instrument of Accession & joined the Republic of India thus COMPLETE STATE, not only what India controls today but what is under illegal control of Pakistan & China, bcm Legally an integral Part of India.) But, in the Map of 🇨🇳or🇵🇰 he never uses those colors to separate the Parts of those Contesting regions which are currently under their control. This is sheer hypocrisy & Biasness and it reflects that he is subtly propagating (most probably frm free will, after getting dis/misinformed) propaganda of certain groups.
@Ds-oj5py
@Ds-oj5py Жыл бұрын
Historically, Technically , Legally... No matter how u see this.... Whole Sate of (by 'whole' I mean with state boundaries which existed in 1947) Jammu&Kashmir (of which I m resident of) is an integral part of India. So any person who claims to be neutral shld use the Map which shows complete J&K as part of India. Additional if anyone want to go by(or show) Current Position on the ground...then They must use DOTTED LINES - to signify the region which isn't under India's control and part of the state but currently under the illegal control of Pakistan & China. SOLID LINES - to mark the original Border of the State with Pakistan & China.(since these Borders came into force after ACTUAL LEGAL TREATIES) NO use of,ANY TYPE OF, LINE to separate the state of J&K frm rest of India coz the state has LEGALLY become the part of Republic of India.(and any Line gives the impression as if J&K isn't integral part of India but some seperate entity or ocuupied territory as in case of 🇨🇳 & 🇵🇰) So anyone who claims to be completely neutral and want to go by Legal & ground reality.They must use the above method only.

+Clement Ng Actually, there isn't even a universal writing system for Chinese. There's the Traditional writing system and the Simplified writing system. China and Singapore use the Simplified writing system, and Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau use the Traditional writing system. Despite this, China has been using the Traditional writing system for over a thousand years, until around the 1950s. +Κουρασμένος Καπετάνιος I think it's interesting. I feel your pain. Even accents within Mandarin can be tough. I started out learning "Standard Mandarin" (which is based on Beijing Mandarin even though no one outside that region talks like that) because that's how my classes were taught, but then could barely understand anything my Taiwanese friends said. That's like learning American English then going to the UK. I learned their way of speaking eventually. Don't get me started on the "dialects." Mandarin is about as similar to Cantonese, Yue (Shangainese), Hakka, or Taiwanese/Fujianese/Minnanese as German is to Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, or French.

On China and North Korea and that "go talk to a Chinese person" part: So, North Korea with the support of the USSR first pushed South Korea all the way to the southernmost city of Busan, and then the US army came and landed on Incheon, a city close to the 38th parallel, flanking the North Koreans. The western troops continued all the way to the Sino-Korean border, so China got kind of startled and proceeded to send half a million troops to Korea. After a bunch of back and forth both sides finally accepted that unification is not possible, and they signed a peace agreement. Note that South Korea refrained from signing it and only signed a ceasefire instead, so technically the Korean War still continues to this day. (This is why both countries have conscription and a ton of military equipment) After the war, North Korea constantly asked aid from the USSR and China, when North Korea leaned to the Russians, China decided to recognize the South. This kind of scared the North, so North Korea became kind of neutral. The USSR dissolved in 1991, and North Korea due to lack of aid had a large famine continuing all the way to the 2000s. China was then trying to develop its economies and had some intense political situations including the 1990 Yugoslavian embassy bombing and the 1996 Taiwan crisis. This continued until the 2010s. After the 2016 nuke test, China got really upset with North Korea. Unlike the US, it means a nuclear country under an unstable dictatorship at your doorsteps. For Americans, imagine that Cuba has nukes, but slightly worse. Our fellow Europeans, imagine that the Balkan countries all has nukes, for Indians...umm Pakistan already has nukes, but imagine Afghanistan under Taliban rule with nukes. Our fellow Africans, imagine Eritrea with nukes. South Americans, imagine that some Latin American countries except Panama has nukes. Russians & Eastern Europeans...no, no offense, but you guys already have enough geopolitical dilemmas to deal with. The real thing is that China has to trade with North Korea as well as, because millions of hungry and impoverished people and a collapsing country at your borders, unfortunately we already have Afghanistan and there's no need for another one. Another important problem is that when North Korea has the money, it doesn't just make food and infrastructure, but also nukes. So, there is a cycle going on here. Kim Jong Un, if you are looking at this comment, would you stop making nukes? You already have this mutual defense pact with China, why in the fking world would South Korea dare invade you?????

I would say 'Outer Mongolians had much more influences from Russia' while inner Mongolians are mixed with Chinese culture. That is due to the invasion of Mongolians in history and became a dynasty of China call Yuan. It's a pity that mongalians don't write the traditional mongolian in vertical way.....
