We also use American English even America never colonized Malaysia some of the words we use in Malaysia are fries, candy and cotton candy. some people say eggplant, apartment, tie, ladybug and Moscow with the pronunciation 'moskau'.

Min 16:40 - traditional Malays houses, were built high , to avoid flood, wild animals..just to keep the family safe. But the architecture will differs between states in Malaysia.

Malay House Architecture was so cooll.. i means COOL... yup it is cool rather than the house built nowdays... the air circulation was the most important things to build a house oldays .. and there is no nails needed... no even single nails hehehe

When u mention that u wanna compare mcd in philiphines n malaysia..it make me remember my office mate who also come from ph..she always ask us if i want to order something for lunch n when i asked her where she going..she always said mcd..everytime mcd n her reason is she feel like want to eat it.. Sorry for my rip english😂

Malaysia use British English and our exam also same to UK for example Malaysia Cert of Education is equivalent to O level and Malaysia Higher Cert of Education is equiv to A level, and we can enter UK universities and commonwealth countries using national exam

We have 6 ringgit notes, each in different basic colours except rm50 which is cyan (greenish blue). Meaning one basic colour is not used (yellow).

Malay build house high and roof like that is bcause of weather. Mlaysia is a hot country, so the architecture like that is for air circulation. Cool breeze will enter low part of house and warm air will go out from the roof small holes. Warm air has low density compare to cool air. Well u know, back 500 years ago air conditioner are not available.

You will probably more “confuse” because we all learned British English in Schools but growing up watching lots more or American shows hence we will mixed up some terms and words.
