Glad they mentioned Brian Lara, he's my favourite cricket player of all time. The Caribbean and Trinidad Barbados and Guyana in particular are definitely on my bucket list.

I live in the UK. My mother is British and may dad is trini. My wife and I where one of the first weddings on the pigeon point jetty, Tobago in 2005. I absolutely love Trinidad and Tobago.

Man, gonna go back there soon. My dad is from there. Beautiful place. Miss La Brea and San Fernando. My dad was a Trini musician that ended up in Sweden after he finished playing. Where he met my mother that was from Finland. So I was born in Sweden but now live in the UK. Hows that for a mix? lol. Great video, thanks.

As a Trini, the mispronunciation of many of the names in Trinidad is cringe worthy. The information is good but Jeeze, learn to say it correctly if you insist on making a history video. Anyway, thanks for watching the video about the Islands in the Sun😁❤️

Tobago is the chill sister country and has the better beaches and is built around tourism but sadly there is no night life In Tobago. Trinidad on the other hand always has things to do if you're into the night life and fine dining

Updated Fact: Petrotrin was broken up into three companies. It was hemorrhaging money. Yep, our original name was Iere! Iere & Tobago? Doesn't have to same nice ring. 10am this morning, CARICOM is holding an emergency to address the passing of the hurricane. Our National Anthem (the best in the world) was supposed to be used by The Federation (the Caribbean version of the European Union) but that obviously failed... for various reasons. Patios is dying partly because the elders who spoke it fluently didn't teach their children because they didn't want the children to understand them why they gossip. And we have the world's largest roundabout! The Queen's Park Savannah!
