Personally I think adding a thin pole at the top of your building is cheating a little. Like, I could add a 200 ft radio tower to the top of my building and edge out in height over my competitor by 10 feet. But is my building _really_ 10 feet taller?
@CTCenter
@CTCenter 8 жыл бұрын
Yes
@wikirexmax
@wikirexmax 8 жыл бұрын
Yes and no. On wiki for instance, both heights can be displayed: with or without the spear. Moreover, some building have grown taller over time when the spear was or is a radio antenna than was added or remplaced and onceforth increased the whole building size. So there are the original and the current height.

Here in the Balkans we don't build towers. We build roads, it's the same but horizontal. And those towers mentioned in the vid, they're a joke! Americans can build a tower for 1 year, Bosnia can build 20km of road for just 20 years! Serbia's still waiting for the Kragujevac-E75, but Montenegro is the clear winner - they're waiting for their first highway for a century now!

Hey Cody, you forgot the Eiffel Tower, which was built in 1889 and considerably surpassed the Washington Monument in height. It held the record of highest structure until the Chrysler Building 40 years later, so it definitely needs mentioning. And since the Washington obelisk (not a building) is in the list, then the Eiffel Tower (also not a building) absolutely needs to be included

Funfact: The cathedral of Ulm surpasses the cathedral of Cologne at a total height of bit more than 161m and is the world's tallest church tower. However, it will pass on that title to Barcelona's Sagrada Familia, once that church will be finished.

If God wills that the Church have vast wealth that your pathetic self can never attain in a hundred lifetimes, you can not look at us upright Christians with a broken heart. All of these poor people must have sinned in their past lives since they are not in heaven, and this worldly life is their just punishment.

I wonder if the Tokyo Tower will be in the next video. It isn't built yet, but they proposed to be a 1km high living area, as I've read about it. (not the red and white striped Tokyo Tower that stands today which is not tall at all... in comparison)
