When Geordie came to Winnipeg in the mid 70's my friends and I got to go backstage at the Playhouse Theatre and sit with Brian on a couch. He had his arm around me. Dreamland. Brand new Kodak Instamatic Camera did not develop the pics. True story.

Brian Johnson just seems to so naturally enjoy singing and performing. In concert it seems like he has so much fun on stage, not just a grind like it is for so many others.

Brilliant,Geordie performances are like looking for a needle in a hay stack.I know Tyne Tees TV have the entire full Geordie scene episodes in their archives and i know Geordie were on the show. Hoping one day they repeat the series. Thanks for the upload.

hey thanks for sharing. this is too cool! A long ago when I was a kid I bought their cassette tape and been listening to it thru-out the years. The album cover was the group's picture with gangster-like suits and hats etc. It had that 1 famous song House of Rising Sun but sang like no one else/ it was a great performance and a great album. It's funny years later when I came to usa I never related AC/DC's old lead vocals to Geordie's... I wished I could find that old tape, it sounded really good and the bass moved you! (maybe the older audio equipment were better? really)!

This Newcastle band had reunited and were rehearsing new songs when Bon Scott died Feb. 19, 1980, and Brian Johnson was offered a seat in AC/DC, thus destroying two great bands. Well, AC/DC were already finished when Scott died, aged 33, but Geordie never happened again. I hated 'Back in Black'...
