More than anything I think he got ppl to stop and think about what they accept as normal and question themselves and their government. The majority of ppl just do what they're told regardless of how much it infringes on their human rights but Carlin put a huge spotlight on those topics. Only Chappelle in my opinion hits as closely on his views on the world. But Carlin's mastery of the English language and his ability to rant nonstop without missing a beat is what makes him the GOAT.
